Showcase Luna singing

wow, I really like her voice. I thought the beginning was kind of weak but it got really good when she hit those high notes. The last part was good until she went up a note (4:29) and stopped out of nowhere...I went "what the heck? o_o" lol.

I really do like this group though...I dunno if it's just cause I like Soshi....BUT, I don't think so. it's actually really hard for me to get interested in a group, I really only follow three right now...and f(x) is one of them!

I think they are gonna do really really well...

And Lachata has really grown on me...Though I want to hear more LUNNNAAA =D

I dont have a favorite though haha, I don't know how you guys do it! Must be my indecisiveness hehe.

Oh my gosh~<3 Soulful youth. I'm very pleased. :-D This just cements Luna as my favorite, at least for now. lol I wish SM would release a recording of the showcase.

I guess the music video won't be out until the 5th then? Aargh! I've been waiting all night last night and all day today. I'm tired of waiting. I'm going to watch some kdrama for the time being. I will not take SM's words seriously anymore. They said they were going to release the mv on the day of the showcase and it still hasn't been released yet.

So does Krystal really have a lisp? I can't tell.

^that's exactly what they did though. they released the MV @ the showcase. so those lucky fans got to see it before us.
btw, all this MV's date never came from SM themselves so yeah it's just fans' speculation.

Hey I've been reading Korean blog posts of netizens who went to the Showcase:

One Korean attendee's thoughts:
- The news articles were wrong. Shinee and SNSD did not perform at the event.
- Not even Jessica Jung (SNSD) was present.
- At the show case, not a word was brought up about Krystal being Jessica's sister. It appears that Krystal does not want to ride on her sister's coattails maybe?
- Victoria is the oldest (1987) and is the leader of the group.
- Victoria's Korean is very poor. As the leader of any group is supposed to do a lot of talking, this is worrisome. However, her Korean was very cute. The audience laughed and thought she was cute when she spoke Korean.
- Victoria is a very good dancer and very flexible.
- Amber was surprisingly better at Korean. Her voice is very low. She received a lot of cheers from the women. However, I didn't feel that she was that great of a dancer. She looks cute when she smiles. The more I look at her, the more I think she looks like Shinee's Kim Jong Hyun. She rapped to an American song at the event. As I am weak at English, I did not understand a thing she said.
- Sulli did not stand out very much at this event. She often stood at the center when performing Lachata. However, she did not do a solo performance at this event. I wish she did more.
- I heard that Krystal had a similar personality to Jessica, but after watching the showcase, I am not so sure.. She talked very eloquently and her eyes were very starry. Though she's JESSICA's sister, I feel that she looks more like Yuri or Yoona. She did a solo girl's hiphop performance at this event.
- Luna is the shortest of the members. Her solo live singing performance was absoltuely AMAZING. Everyone cheered wildly at the end of her performance. I heard she entered SM Entertainment for her dance moves, but her singing really surprised me. I am keeping my eye on this member; I look forward to her progress.
- The hosts were SUJU's Lee Teuk and Sunny. Kangin and HeeChul were also briefly there.
- There were more females in the audience than males.
- One member of the audience was sitting in front of me. She got caught recording the event and was asked to leave the event. I felt sorry for her.
- They showed us the full MV for LaChaTa. The full MV wasn't as great as the teasers.
- I look forward to their debut this week.

and i know everyone thinks amber is handsome and stuff....but am i really the only one that thinks if amber were to get a girl hairstyle, clothes, and makeup she would actually make a pretty girl? and her voiceeee...it sounds like a legitimate girl, lol. anyways, im very impressed w/ her rapping. i knew sm just forced her to "sm rap" in lachata.

i wanna see a fancam of vic's dance. cuz if she's as good as her resume claims, i will rest my claims against her being in a group w/ younger girls.

Finally someone brings this up. It's great she's getting attention but I'm pretty sure Krystal wants to succeed without the support of being known as Jessica's sister.

Here's another Korean blog post from a Korean attendee:

- A song called "Mr. Boogie" was also showcased. I personally found this song better than LA chA TA.
- Victoria danced really well to "Love Sex Magic". I was very surprised with her dancing. She did the splits and flips.
- Amber was next. A lot of females in the audience cheered. She rapped to a song called "Believe Me".
- Luna sang "And I'm Telling You I'm Not Going". I got goosebumps; she was very good. She reminds me of Sunny. Both are the shortest member in their respective groups and they both sing well. They even came out of the same middle school. I was worried because she seemed like she lacked charisma and didn't stand out much in the group. However, her amazing vocals really did it for us.
- Krystal did a dance performance. It wasn't anything spectacular.
- I wondered why Sulli did not do a solo performance.
- At the end, Victoria spoke in awkward Korean about her feelings about today's event and her future goals for the group.
- Then a video of all the members' drama appearances and commercials came on.
- Then LaCHA TA was performed. It's a good song. I especially like Krystals' "yea yea ~yea" part. It's quite addictive.
- Then the full MV for La Cha Ta aired.

I really love Amber's rap and Luna's singing. I think they both are really talented. I cannot wait to hear the other girls sing... and see all of them dance.

Oh and the fan who got kicked out for taping, needs to learn how to sneak around. LOL.

Even if Victoria's Korean is poor and even if she's the leader, that doesn't mean she will always have to speak on behalf of the group. Look at FT Island. I know that people thought Hongki was the leader because he spoke the most, but he isn't, Jonghoon is.

I really want to hear all of them talk. We need to see that showcase.

It has been revealed how two of the f(x) members, Luna and Krystal got into SM Entertainment.

The 16 year old member, Luna, revealed on September 2nd during the group show-case that she was casted on a show called, "Truth Game," (SBS) in 2006. In this show, she got a the nickname of "Wave Girl." She then said that it was on that show that SM noticed her talents and brought her into the company. Since 2006, she has been learning and training in vocals, dancing, and English.

The sister of SNSD/ Girl's Generation's Jessica and the youngest member, Krystal, also revealed in the show-case that she was recruited by SM when she was 7 years old but because of her young age, she started training just 2 years ago. Unlike Luna, she has been learning and training in vocals, acting, ballet, jazz dance and Japanese since 2006. She is also said to be fluent in English, just like her sister Jessica.

Man, there is a lot of talent in just two of the five members of f(x), imagine if all of the members were that talented and wow... you get one heck of a group right there. It just gets me more excited to see f(x) perform the song LA chA TA.

thanks =] the audio's kind of unclear but I'm glad someone managed to record it (it seems like the security was tight at the showcase. Someone got kicked out for recording the perfs? that sucks..=T) I thought she did alright. It's a hard song to sing, she sounded kind of weak at the beginning, but she hit the high notes pretty well.

- Amber was surprisingly better at Korean. Her voice is very low. She received a lot of cheers from the women. However, I didn't feel that she was that great of a dancer.

I sort of noticed that in the teaser lol she looked kind of awkward doing some of the moves.

I'm disappointed to hear that the MV isn't as good as the teaser =T
