I hope they'll make it really big in China without having the need to be shipped there. It's fine if they just hold concerts and a few guest performances on tv shows, but to be sent there for a year or even just a few months is a no. Unless they make all the tv appearances available for us to see and SM will always update us on whatever's happening, then by all means, go ahead, besides, china is a great market.

I really hope they'll have their own TV shows on a big network, like sbs, mbc and of course KBS so I can watch on kbs world. Mnet and mtv doesn't count. Also, I really hope they don't guest on Star Golden bell, at least not yet. They ignore newbies there and Kim JaeDong, as well as the editors only concentrate on a few people and pretty much ignore the rest. I want Amber to guest on happy together because Yoo Jae Seok really knows how to host a show and make the guests feel comfortable.

altho china has 1.3billion ppl, d most popular singer also cant make more than 400K album sales.... china has a serious illegal/pirated cd problem.... due to d pirated cd problem d price of original copy in china is very cheap, juz around 5 us dollars.... so they cant make big $$$$ in china....
if they really wan to develop in oversea market, i hope they go 2 japan, since japan is d 2nd largest market in d world...

Since Amber and Victoria don't speak korean, it's pretty clear to me that they won't stay in Korea. I mean, idol groups usually have to go through variety shows, radios, interviews galore etc... and it will be hard since two of them can't really speak fluently korean. Well at least that's how SM works with its other groups who are active in Korea, but maybe his plans changed for f(x) ? Hehe.

I always thought they would go to China. Victoria is chinese and she's the leader of the group. That explains a lot ! Krystal, Sul Li and Luna might have learnt foreign languages too, like most of SM artists have. But who knows, maybe they will go somewhere else. I'm sure they will be sent in another Asian country though. Probably soon after they first mini album or album ?

Oh well that doesn't bother me if they are well promoted wherever they go ! And it's not like they won't come back in Korea if they leave the country for a few months. Since they have just debuted, all I can say is that they won't rest a lot, and SM must have lots of super big plans for them. They'll be pretty busy for a long period from now !

China's situation is still better than Korea's. I mean, top artists barely reach 200K. About Japan, I'm not sure. Girl groups don't do really well there. Let's not forget that there is already CSJH in Japan and SNSD is also going to be shipped in another country (probably Japan) for a short period then come back in Korea. That's why I don't really think they will go to Japan. Plus SM already has Zhang Li Yin and Super Junior-M in China and they both had a lot of success~ Hmm and I'm not sure if any of the girl can speak japanese ?

Personally I don't want them to go to China. Nothing against China, obv, but it's just so big to try and break into. I think they need to establish a good base in Korea, and possibly Japan before they venture into China. Although Vic/Amber can't speak Korean that well doesn't necessarily mean they should go to China. I think that they're going to improve on their Korean. Look at all the other non-Korean speakers in the Kpop world, should their bands be shipped back to America? I don't think so. Maybe over time they may go to China like SuJu, but for now I hope they stay in Korea ♥

I also think it's too early for the girls to tackle on another country. They should develop a good fanbase first before being shipped to some place new when they only just debuted. Why are you guys even talking about them moving to another countries already? They just debuted and it'll probably going to take awhile before that will happen. The chances of them going to China is high but that will be in the future, they still need to set a foundation in Korea first. Given the age of a few of them, I'm not sure if some parents would agree to let them go any where as of yet for a long period of time; mainly Krystal and Luna.

For now, we should just enjoy and hope they success first.

I'd rather have f(x) stay for a year or so at Korea before even thinking of expanding into other markets. Sure, the girl group scene is a little crowded competition wise but IMO it's smarter from a financial point of view to build up a solid fanbase first before trying to conquer another market.

To be honest, I think the next best music scene they should go to is Japan, and not China. China's music market might be a bit more thriving than Korea's but it's no match compared to Japan's market sales.

However, logic points out that most likely they'll head first to China before Japan so yeah...I'm pretty sure we're going to see them having China promotions sometime next year. There's no doubt f(x) will make it big over there, two of the members are Chinese and even before debut Chinese fans have already taken notice of them.

im pretty sure they will enter the chinese market because victoria and amber can speak fluent chinese, which means they do not need to master a entirely new language.

idk but the rumour around is f(x) will stay in korea IF the response is good. and by that, SMe wants to see numbers (e.g (mini)album sales, $$$). korea can be very interested in f(x) but if the number shows otherwise, they will most probably venture in the chinese market.

anw, it's kind of early to look into this problem. they will stay at least till december, so lets just see what they can show us. (:

Well, I guess I rather have them go to Japan than China then. They can make more money in Japan than china. They need to start learning Japanese now. I love them too much in Korea. If they go somewhere else, it's going to break my heart. Ha, I know for sure Amber will be very popular in Japan because she represents a manga character.
