I'm planning to get a c905a when I find the best deal on it. But before I actually get it, I was wondering if anyone has it. How do you like it? And I read that this phone has wifi. But I'm confused about this whole wi-fi stuff. I know it has something to do with internet, but is it internet, where I have to pay for a internet plan. Or can it connect to the internet like a laptop or an ipod touch?
I'm looking to get this phone so I don't have to drag my gigantic laptop to class, and I recently bought an ipod 2 years ago so I dont want to spend extra money for an ipod touch.
Any help would be great, thanks!

I have a C905a
It's pretty good, The camera image quality is above average quality for a cameraphone, there are a lot of camera features (smile shutter, face detection, autofocus, flash, etc.) The screen is pretty big, & the quality is really nice. The media player is easy to use, & is really good.
The only bad things are that the headphones it comes with aren't the in-ear kind, so if you want to use other headphones with it, you'll have to get an adaptor for it, The phone is sort of thick, and a bit bulky (it's almost double the thickness of my last phone D:)
The C905a has wifi. Using its wifi, you can connect to wireless access points and you can use the local wifi for internet. So it'll be just like connecting a laptop to a wifi network, but on your phone. Using wifi is local, and shouldn't cost you anything, because it isn't using you carrier's network for data. The wifi on it is pretty useful, especially when I don't feel like turning on my computer, or walking up to it
Hope I helped!

Thank you so much!! Yeah, the phone is a bit heavy too. =/ I'm deciding over this or a Blackberry right now. Since they both have wifi, and the Blackberry is alot lighter with a qwerty keyboard. But I love sony too much. lol. Thanks for helping clarify.
sadly, some people will never change no matter what you do.

You have to debrand the phone to enable the wifi on it.
I still don't understand why the service provider has disabled it.
