After Famously Enjoying Eating for Two (Boxes of Donuts! Three Bagels a Day!), Milla Jovovich Gets Her Body Back
She's made a career in such action movies as Resident Evil, but Milla Jovovich "is not someone who embraces exercise," says her trainer Harley Pasternak. Combine that with her ability to down three peanut-butter-and-jelly slathered bagels, and her weight soared to 192 lbs. while pregnant with daughter Ever Gabor, born last November. With only five months to prep for bikini scenes in her next film, A Perfect Getaway, the 5'9" actress signed up for five-day-a-week workouts with Pasternak, who also cooked for her. His 5 Factor books prescribe three meals and two snacks daily, each including five elements: protein, complex carbs, fiber, fat and fluids. (See box for a typical menu.) He also calls for circuit training, focusing on "upper body, lower body, abs and cardio." Crunches tightened her abs—but, says Pasternak, the real credit for getting Jovovich, 32, to her 130-lb. pre-baby weight goes to "bringing structure to her diet after eating whatever." Now, he adds, "She's back to being a hot mom."

Her statement during pregnancy :
“I am so huge you guys!” she wrote on her website September 15. “I’ve gained almost 70 pounds in the last 4 months!”
The former model, 31, who is expecting a daughter in November with fiancé, director Paul W. S. Anderson, 42, currently tips the scale at 193 pounds. “It’s a lot of weight to put on quickly and I only have myself to blame,” she recently said in an interview.
For breakfast, she was eating three bagels smeared with butter, peanut butter, and jelly; for lunch, a box of Krispy Kreme donuts. Naturally, her doctor was concerned by her weight gain (it is recommended that most women put on 25 to 35 pounds), so Jovovich has cut back on the carbs. “I’m doing chicken and veggies and trying to be the healthiest mother,” she explained.
Still, the extra weight is taking a toll on the formerly agile star. “Honey, my bones seem soft now and my feet are killing me,” she said, adding that her feet have grown three shoe sizes. “I can barely wear flip-flops. And now I have a whole new appreciation for my old body.”

Important read me : Her largest weight loss still required that her body had to adjust for a few more months and she continued to exercise - months later - the most recent pix are because she became the Maxim September 2009 Cover Model
You can lose a lot of weight but you also need to give your body time to adjust and the fine tuning should take additional time. Being patient and consistent and setting new goals leads to a refining process.
