well shorts do make your legs look longer, aside from that angle and lighting maybe?

maybe the mirror makes them look skinnier because of the shape of the mirror . or instance if you mirror was wider it would look different. then again i donno i think its preetty much how you're lookin at them

you know that saying,

camera adds 10 pounds

tongue.gif

also, angles take part too.
the second picture is straight on, your calves aren't shown in the picture
the first picture shows the side of your calves and thighs, because of that your legs appear fatter/bigger than the ones in 2nd pic.

The thing is, different mirrors will make your legs look thinner/thicker depending on how it was made.
And for pictures, angles and lighting come into place
...So I really don't know what the "real" size of your legs would be :\

Angle. The camera in the first picture was taken on lower ground. Just look at your feet for reference. You can tell the camera in the second photo was taken from a higher angle because you can see the top of your feet more.

If your mirror's at an angle in respect to the ground/wall, then that could change things.

(not really taking into account that the mirror picture is still a picture, but thinking of when you stand in front of the mirror yourself, everyday)

i think its because of the angle.
when you get a picture of your full body, it most likely isnt looking down. so it's just full on.
but when youre in front of the mirror, you look down to see your legs. err your eyes go to a..down..angle..to look.

thats..maybe..why?
idk hahaha.

maybe it's the lighting too.

or maybe..it's something with the human eye and mirrors. haha.

Your mirror might have some elongating properties. Also, you might be holding the camera at different angles.

Yeah I think the mirror is the medium distorting your legs the most... The first picture is probably more accurate regardless of angle and such.
