I have Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2009 and when I run full scans, it detects viruses, but I'm not sure how to remove 'em T.T" It doesn't give me the "Disinfect all" option, because it's not highlighted. The only option is Quarantine, but idunno what that is T.T"

So does Kaspersky automatically remove viruses or what? O_O If not, then how do I remove them?

Oh and btw, I have the full thing meaning I bought the software, if that helps.

The definition of quarantine as stated by Merriam-Webster's Online Dictionary: 4: a state of enforced isolation.

Quarantining your virus is the correct thing to do so it doesn't spread. After it's quarantined you should be able to delete it. In some cases when an A/V program allows you to delete a virus straight up, it would usually lead to inadvertent deletion of an important system file which would result in your computer being non operable until a re-installation of the operating system is done.

Thanks! (=

But when I click on quarantine, it opens a window, I'm guessing where they want me to trap it? So am I suppose to make a new folder or what? And where, if so? Or is there a certain folder I'm suppose to quarantine it in?

Anti-virus programs are kinda straightforward. You don't have to create any folder or anything for the viruses. If the viruses are selectable, select them all and then look for a DELETE button in the window or REMOVE button or in your case QUARANTINE button. It should be very straightforward and easy.
