So, I can't decide between the two. I like blogspot because it allows you to have followers. But, I like wordpress because you can have pages.. I'm trying to pick between the two so I can have a blog & somewhere to post my jewelry stuff other than my shop on Soompi.
Here's wordpress': http://jusanctuary.wordpress.com/
and Blogspot: http://jusanctuary.blogspot.com/

i've been updating wordpress more... but i don't know. which one do you think is more popular/which do you think would be better for my jewelry? ._.

Blogspot's been making a resurgence in popularity, although blog sites in general have been taken a huge nose-dive. I would say if you're looking for more exposure to go the Blogspot route just 'cause I don't see Wordpress making any more headway than it already has, especially given how long it's been around. If you were to ever do remote hosting though, Wordpress has nicer templates and it's easier to use.

If you like customization, blogspot is the way to go imo. If you like function, go for wordpress. Free WP and self WP are very comparable.

I like Wordpress, self-hosted of course. I like being able to customize my blog 100% and having the option to download thousands of great themes and plugins.

BUT if you don't want to pay for hosting and want the a FREE blog, I'd choose Blogspot over the free Wordpress.com because Blogspot has a great community.
