so i lent my car to my sibling... she was backing up because a truck was backing up in front, and a car behind her pulled out of a parking spot... basically they hit each other...

she filed a police report. will insurance know about this if we decide not to go to insurance?
The other guy most likely wouldn't go to insurance as he didn't want to call the cops in the first place.

i brought it to a repair shop and had it fixed already. a couple pushes and wax got most of the job done

if both parties choose not to go to insurance, than your insurance wont know. if they were to find out SOMEHOW, for all they know you could have taken off the bumper to replace a taillight and backed over it... or some other crazy story.

but if noone says anything insurance wont know
