So I've been attending my band camp during this whole week and practice was outside on the field. Four days ago, I realized that I had some mosquito bites on me and then one on my neck. Two days ago, I noticed that the bug bite on my my neck became some sort of blue-ish/purple color.

Does anyone have any idea on what is happening? If so, should I wait for a week to go to the doctor? Has anyone had this before?

*No I'm not allergic to any bugs/grass and have been keeping hydrated for the whole week.

I'd say you should go to the doctor to get it checked out. O_O It might not even be a mosquito it could be a spider. The safest thing to do is to go to the doctors.

my camera isn't working right now but if it helps, it's the size of a penny and some people would say it's a "hickey"

OMG, that's not good at all, go to the doctor or hospital asap, i think it might be a bite from a poisonous spider like the black widow.
