I got a new cellphone today =D It's gorgeous, I love it.
But I seriously hate opening the battery cover.
I always have to ask my dad
The instructions in the manual just say "Push and slide upwards"
but they don't work for me :\ how do i get it to slide of easier?

my other phone was rly hard to take off the battery cover. and it pissed me off bc i kept putting in and out the sd card in there

Remove Battery Cover
i found this video a few years ago and this is the method i've used for all of my battery covers since the samsung D900 and it's worked perfectly. i've used this trick on my sony ericsson z780, sony ericsson tm506, samsung u600, and samsung gravity 2.
so basically, instead of just using one finger or your thumb to push the battery cover off, use all 4 fingers for a better grip and more pressure.

lol, i had the same problem as you when i first got my phone. i literally spent days trying to figure out how to open my battery cover. i was told to use the palm of my hand, haha it felt like i was going to break it D:

dont do it. ever since i made it easier to slide off, it falls off almost instantly.

some of my phones' battery cover is hard to slide off too
I usually get a rubber band or a silicone wrist bracelet thingy, and use that to slide it open. it usually works for me
