High School Popular Marrying The Nerd?

when I hear stories [fiction/real] about the popular guy/girl later marrying the school nerd, I get butterflies in my stomach. i find it adorable and proves how love is unexpected. do you know any stories like this?

I've never heard of high school students getting married.

my cousin was like the high school all star quarterback.
he married a girl that was in his grade at his school.
they met in college, he didn't know she existed.
she apparently had a crush on him before they actually met.
LOL. they got married last year.

I don't think I know anyone that got married right after high school. Unless they were high school sweet hearts and dated after that and post secondary education and then get married...

Yeah I don't think anything of it. People change a lot once they go through college.... obviously high school status won't matter at all... it's an immature time of your life.

The only time I hear about the jock marrying the nerd is in those annoying classmate.com advertisements that say "HE MARRIED WHO!?." I prefer not to end up marrying someone that went to my high school though aha.

I have yet to hear a real life story of such.. but i'm sure it does exist and shows just how strong love can be. ^^

Me and my boyfriend are in a similar situation... Apparently he'd been crushing on me since middle school... And he said I was the only one he really really crushed on. We started dating our junior year of high school and have been going out for over a year and a half now. I feel so stupid for not falling for him sooner!

But yeah, it's not really a geek/popular person story, and it doesn't involve marriage. But still.

I've heard of high school sweethearts getting married with one another but never really knew anyone that married a nerd or other way around if they were popular (or once again, other way around). But I agree, it is rather cute.
