and fyi, i do use it to to open documents and power points for school and use it for keeping updated on news.
and i also admit i don't use all of its functions -- i mean who does with their phone?
but overall, i think it's fun to mess around with the tech features..
i also bought it by myself with the money i earned through my job.
on the other hand, my nephew (6) has a phone with a QWERTY keypad. -_______-
definitely unnecessary. i think it engages his brain more though bc he's already able to formulate his own sentences haha

you text, go on the internet, and call people with it, just like a lot of other phones.
my friends have blackberries, and it's a lot easier to type on it than those slide out qwerty keyboards.
the shape is cute too =)

since they're kids, you'd think they'd go for something more cute and colorful, i know i would.
BB's are so bland and bulky-ish, except the pearl. But whatever, not my money. A phone is a phone.

WELL. With that said, I'm actually not really bothered when I see kids with them, since it's just a cell phone. Almost everyone has one these days, so it's natural for kids to be whining and moaning to their parents about getting a

Especially with the phone plans providing the phone as well so that the parent doesn't have to pay for the phone separately. Only 2 people in my school own a blackberry, both of them were seniors and were heavily reliant on their phones. I agree with the reasoning that teenagers do not require such a "business-like" phone, but I suppose it makes sense. It's not like most of them use it for many uses.. texting, instant messengers and calling.

i know some people in my grade who have blackberries and smart phones already.
im so envious because its just so cool @_@
but im perfectly fine with my pink samsung
it honestly doesn't bug me. like i don't think anyone should care. it's not a waste.
as long as it's not harming anyone, right? i mean if the parents are willing to pay for it, then cool.
why should everyone care about younger people having good phones..?
:\ just my 2 cents.
oh wait.. cellphones kills gorillas

i nudged my boyfriend who shrugged his shoulders. while my bf took care of the rep, i overheard the mom say that he only wants a blackberry so it's easier to text her. while the mom and that rep was talking, she said that the son really knows his way around a blackberry because she has one. seriously, a 6 year old? i think that's just way over the line.

I mean, the ones that get one just to be "cool" are the noobs.
They're probably like, what? 10 - 14 years old? Just getting out of elem?
"Hey, look at my new cell phone! Do you have one?! I don't think sooo~!"
Everyone, meet the new generation. They'll be running our world one day
Children will mature one day.
Just let them have their fun for a while, then we could KILL their shiett. >:D
As for the overall pricing on the bill, that's what the parents have to worry about.
Besides, a Blackberry from T-Mobile doesn't really cost much.
There are some for below $100 with contract,
& it's way cheaper than any of the new sidekicks.
