I have two cousins, let's call them Jo and Kat. Jo looks more like her mom and Kat looks more like her dad. Jo was telling me about how it seems like their dad treats Kat a bit better than Jo. Kat is quite disobedient, and i was at their house, so i overheard their parents arguing about why her husband (Jo and Kat's dad) never really punishes Kat. So he said jokingly "because Kat looks like me ha ha ha". What do you guys think? Do you think the dad behaves slightly better to the child who looks like him over his other child who doesn't?

Honestly, I don't know. I mean, that can be it. Or it can be something else. Or even the daughter is having a misunderstanding about something to come to that conclusion. We will never really understand another family situation unless we are part of that family and experienced it.
As for my case, I look like my dad the most. Even though my dad and I clicked really well, I wouldn't say he favors me most. In fact - I think he just tend to spoil all of us equally.

I think that makes sense. In fact, it's programmed in human DNA for babies to look more like their fathers when they're younger so fathers are less likely to leave their offspring.
