If you have a small collection and don't care about SQ that much and care about apps/games/etc then get the touch.
Purely for music get the classic, but a zune/cowon/samsung/sony are much better for music listening alone.

I had the 80gig but someone stole it last year.. anyways I had to erase musics to put new songs in cause I ran outta memory ;;;
so just like what everyone else said.. it depends on what you wanna do

but if I lived in the States, I'd definitely consider buying the Zune HD
Looks like a great piece of work. They just need to update it a bit.

My classmates just bought me a 3rd gen 32gb touch i love it to bits lol. Make sure though that if you buy the touch to get either the 32gb or the 64gb.. The 8gb one doesnt come in 3rd gen, its only 2nd gen so you have a slower processor, less dram, worse graphics, no wifi-n, etcetc.
