I wouldn't vote for a president based on their skin color or nationality.

It's rather interesting how so many people emphasize the fact that he's "half-white".
Many times it's phrased as "he's not black, he's half white" and I'm thinking "why does that matter?"

Anyways, I don't live in America so I never voted for him!
Did you read this? Yay! I succeeded in making you waste seconds of your time.
Yes. I typed more words into my signature because I wanted it to look longer.

but i feel like, many people voted for him because if he did become the president, he would break the colour barrier.

as a mixed person, i find it very annoying that so many people like to label biracial people as one race.
halle berry is also half-white, it makes no sense to me that she was called the first black woman to win the oscar.
kelly hu is half-white, it makes no sense that she's called asian (chinese).
it matters to me and people like me because we're tired of people picking one part of what makes us whole and only rooting for (or demonizing) that one part.

He was the best from all the candidates, and his race had nothing to do with that.

Race is an outdated term that's based on superficial features. Once interracial comes into the picture, the very concept of race must be re-defined.

- The stimulus package, which is going to double our deficit.
- The scare tactics he is using to rush the package through instead of letting people have a couple more days to read through it.
- Trying to get control of the census, which is a power grab because the census controls how districts. The Dems would be calling Bush a dictator if he tried to do this!
and also because he sucks socialists balls. He hasn't even shown his birth certificate yet.
"Well, I haven't received my check that he promised me. He also said he could walk on water, but I haven't seen that."
I mean, really. You'd have to be insane to think of Obama is a good president. He's full of BS.
Oh I think he still would have won if he was white btw only because the way he spoke was manipulative and promising and also he was younger. I read some of these posts and I'm just apalled at how many people are for Obama.

"omg. we might have a black president!"
and things along those lines.
