I haven't started classes yet (I start on Tuesday and moving into my dorm room tomorrow!) but if you've started class already, how did your first day go? Did you meet lots of new people? For those who haven't started yet, how do you think your first day is going to go?

I had my first class yesterday. My university officially started school Thursday but I don't have Thursday classes . But it went pretty awesome. I had 3 of my 4 classes and all of my professors are extremely nice [one of them is pretty cute too, lol]. It was just surprising when my professor gave me a quiz in my math class, lol, I definitely wasn't expecting it.. And I wasn't expecting how long it'd take for me to walk from one class to my next..

It was funny too because I was with my boyfriend and people were coming up to us asking for directions to certain buildings and we were able to help, but it was just funny because we're first year students and it was our first day there, lol. And then after school ended, I went to look at the books I needed for the classes, not to excited, lol >_>!

for me it was like a typical first day of school.
only new experiences was the HUGE campus and the wide variety amount of ppl.

oh and the occasional 40 yr old in one of my classes (its so freaky >.<)

first day was kinda depressing. :[
i go to a commuter school and it's harder to make close friends that way.
we hardly see the same people more than a few times a week.

but after, i made an effort to talk to some people and i made some acquaintances. XD;
it's only been four days so i'm not too worried!

it was like any other first day of the semester.

Subject: Worst day everrrrrrr.

Body:I just need to vent this out.

So my class today wasn't until 10:30, so I left the house at 9:30 to get parking.
I could have left earlier, but I needed to eat.
So I got to school around 10:00 this morning, and the parking lot was completely FULL.
I hate driving cus it scares the crap outta me and there were hella kids driving and fighting to get parking spots.
So now it's like 10:20 and I still haven't parked.
So I park in handicapped.... My grandma leaves her parking placard in the van, so it's all good. (I didn't get any tickets or anything).
Thennnn I show up to INTD 20 at like 10:29 and finally see Friend #1 and Friend#2 since May.
After that I have an hour of break. I was alllll alone. Super lame.
During that break my older sister kept sending me really mean text messages and I had to walk out of the computer lab cus I was about to cry.
I didn't even do anything... I was freakin at school.
Then I had to go to PHOT 40, which is a class for photography, graphic design, and interior design majors.
It's ALL old school. Black and white photography, black rooms, heavy old manual 35mm film cameras, smelly chemicals.
I'm so damn lost already and it's only the first day.
My assignment due by the next class is to shoot one roll of 36 exposure film.
FREAK. This is only the beginning, but one roll of film is already $10, and the print paper is at least $25.
Note: I must do this at least 15 times during the semester.
Note: I am HELLA BROKE already.
I'm going to have to go photo shopping (literally) this Friday so hopefully I can buy something for my homework.
After PHOT 40, I got to see Boyfriend. It was already like 3:50 and I haven't seen him all day.
I only got to see him for half an hour.
Then I had my GPHD 10 class, but my teacher was so late.
Then this white girl's boob was hella popping out the sides of her "shirt."
It was really a bikini, but it was seriously disgusting.
Probably a freshman.
Then class got out early and I called Boyfriend twice, but he was too busy playing tennis.
So I went to check out the film and photo paper at the bookstore. Too much money for me.
Then Boyfriend called me back and I walked to the tennis courts to see him.
Only for another half hour.
After school I went to Victoria's Secret to claim my free stuff.
But it turns out those b-worded butts, minimum wage, ugly ass workers have nothing better to do than tell people that they got the WRONG stuff.
I was too tired to argue with the b-word, so I just went and got the "right" stuff.
I had to get backkk in line, and this was taking forever.
I got my MEAN sister hella stuff too.
I finally go home, and by the time I get here, it's like 8:00PM.
I'm so freakin tired.
But Boyfriend called me, so it's okay.
I gotta go shower and sleep now.

I started back this past Monday. I only have one class on campus this term and I knew a few people in the class from other classes I've had (dealing with my major) and I've known this professor since 2007. So it's nice to see familiar faces again and I'm going to love this term. :-D

Just moved in today....so far I don't know a single person minus my roommate. But hopefully it'll get better once classes start. But it's such a huge campus.....
