Maybe you should just try a class. I'm sure most places will offer you one class for free anyways.

Yep, this is what you should do. You never know what you might love. You should first see what you enjoy watching the most. Usually most kpop songs use hip hop so you might want to head there. I think Hip hop is the most beginner friendly since Ballet and many other dances are more foundational surrounded, which means you would have to learn a lot of basics before actually being able to put on a performance or even a minute solo.
Ex. I am a professional bboy (breakdancer) who was looking to branch off to other dances to help me get more jobs in the future as well as expanding my knowledge. The most common direction is Hip hop which I took but did not enjoy that much. I actually fell more in love with Modern (sort of like ballet + lyrical), but I did try hip hop, modern, funkstyles(popping&locking), ball room dancing, before arriving at that.

hmm, considering that you usually dance to kpop songs, maybe you should try hip hop as Jintastic has mentioned
i prefer ballet and contemporary/modern and lyrical. started dancing at the age of 6, 16 now
and it wasn't hard cuz i love it so so much. i guess passion will overcome all hardships!
don't be scared/ feel embarrassed to join classes. because that's the reason why the classes are there for. for you to learn more and to be more confident in yourself.
in about an hour i'm going for my first ballet class after 2 years
you know what, Just do it.
if you need anyone to talk to i'm more than happy to be that person ^_~
