I'm surprised there's not a single thread on Foothill here @ Soompi. Does anyone here go to Foothill? Know anyone who goes there? Planning to go there? I might be applying there but I'd like to know more about the school overall first. It'd be a great help if anyone can share any knowledge about Foothill. Thanks in advance!

I went from De Anza to FH and I fell in love with FH. At first it was lonely because there weren't many people there and there were a lot of construction work going on. The new facilities are great (campus center, science building, administration). The scenery is gorgeous and I met some really great people. I have to say that the demographic there is more mature than DA (age wise). It was a better envrionment to study for me.

Compared to DA, they don't seem to have many events. There are clubs and stuff, but the population is definitely smaller (I have not been to FH in a year so the population may have increased significantly due to CSUs cutting down on enrollment).

The great thing is that if you can't find a class at De Anza, you can go to Foothill at the same time since they are sister colleges and only a few exits away.

Yup the population there is in the older range compared to de anza.

i go to both de anza and foothill and i LOVE FOOTHILL! the campus is just gorgeous! and it's very quite and empty. but due to increase in tuition there are a lot more students.classes are easier to get at foothill compared to de anza but yeah not much going on. but they do give out free food and such :]. i just don't like how you have to drive around the whole school in a circle to exit

Foothill is great. I love the scenery there and the environment is just perfect for studying. The professors and staffs are friendly and willing to assist students. Besides that, foothill has a lot of events so it actually gives the students opportunities to interact and meet with other students. and they often give out free foods during the events! lol.

I used to go to De Anza, I'm transferring over to Foothill for the next quarter. Ugggh I have to drive to Foothill, San Carlos for work and then back home to Sunnyvale lol fml
