or
This "Leopard" .
Yesterday my friend told me that the price droped for this one. I have to decide which one to buy before the price goes back.
Is Apple's latest operating system, Snow Leopard, a strong, reliable OS that demonstrates the versatility of Macs?

but i would get snow leopard cause its faster and the free space. but some people are experiencing some issues with snow leopard currently because it only came out like 2 weeks ago. leopard is more reliable right now but i would upgrade to snow leopard after a few more updates.

If you're upgrading from Leopard to S.Leopard, you're like to run into problems. I ALWAYS prefer a clean install than an upgrade. No problems from my Snow Leopard install.

And you get ~7GB back from the install. Boot times << especially, and shut down times are faster for me. And everything feels much more responsive. I love that it only takes me 10-15 seconds on my 2007 MBP to open any of my CS4 programs now
so +1 for snow leopard!

You're SUPPOSED to have it installed. It's you're decision to buy the full Snow Leopard via Mac Box Set for $229, buy Leopard and Snow Leopard $129+$29, or just buy Snow Leopard $29. In the end, it works whichever route you take.
Of course it's a good price. That's the cheapest you'll find it. Retail is $29.99. Amazons $25 with free shipping (and maybe no tax depending where you're located) is a bargain, imo.
