Lg Viewty touch screen problem

has anyone experienced problems with the LG viewty touch screen and how did you get it fixed?
Only the right side of my viewty is sensitive to touch while if i click on the left side something on the right will activate. I can still receive calls just cant go to certain applications are on the left.

i was in the middle of texting then it malfunctioned

recalibrate it. go to Phone Settings and go to Touchpad Calibration. Happened to me before >.<.
