Not sure if this poll has been done before. Just wanting ot do a poll here about which online file storage do most people prefer. It would be great if you can reply with comments as to why you prefer a certain one [speed? storage size? expiration?] over others.

i like yousendit, but i hate the fact that it expires so quickly.

so anything BUT clubbox.
clubbox refuses to work on my comp. -__-

oh god no, not ysi, megaupload and all that crap..they suck there's other file sharing sites that are way better and just as fast.

the best one i know is:

FILE LODGE

i use this a lot..i think it's probably the best one i know =/ for files less than 50 MB that is...but they last forever, which is good. and it has easy file managing, so i really like it!!! xD

Send space is also good.

i absolutely hate rapidshare because it refuses to work on my computer. there's not much more to it.

megaupload download speeds make me want to cry. brings me back to the days of 56k. you're only able to download one file at a time from megaupload. not that anyone would download more than one file at megaupload at the same time if it were possible. it takes long enough for one download to finish.

clubbox is a tricky one because sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't so you want to kill it half the time. but when it does work the download speeds are decent and you don't have to worry about the file expiring. also, there's this mileage system that they have. so if you leave clubbox open long enough you'll have thousands of points and you can trade them in so you can access the quick download feature which for me doubles/triples the normal download speeds.

everything else out there is ok. the only reason and most important reason that i love yousendit is because of the download speeds. but it really does stink because most of the time the file will have expired by the time you try to download it.

so i guess there's no perfect file storage out there.

i use ysi for fast uploads..like sharing things with friends..or my own server if it's something big and important

I often use my domain to host files, but for downloading, I prefer Clubbox.

Why? Because I never get downloads lower than 2mb/s using quick download (haven't used regular for a year -__________-). xD
