I'm looking for a simple point and shoot camera that has a good sensor size. I'm not sure what is considered a good sensor size, so please let me know! I'm also not sure what other contributing factors result in clearer pictures, but whatever they may be, that's what I need! lol. and I don't care about megapixels that much... anywhere from 6-10 is fine with me.

A stylish one with cool features would be a big plus as well! My budget is $400 and under. Thanks in advance! (=

I have always used Canon powershots for point and shoots and wouldn't buy any other camera. I would totally recommend them.

Canon P&S FTW.

If you want a good P&S, the upper class ones are the G10 and G11. G10 is about 350-400$ I think, and the G11 a bit more (450-500$) but the G11 should be out in a few weeks. Look 'em up! smile.gif

Panasonic Lumix LX 2 or LX3 because of the sensor size, the compactness and the appearance! It's a pretty sweet camera. The lens is also nice. I think this is less than $400.

the Canon Powershots are good but all the ones now have the sensor size of 1/2.5" or 1/2.3" which is pretty bad. The older Canons like the S410 has 1/1.7" which takes very clear pictures and have better focal points.

The Canon G series are very good but those things surpass the P&S size and weight. Its like lugging around a DSLR
