Ever been in a situation where you're reading a thread and was thinking of something useful to write, but then you saw their age and immediately decided to change it to something condescending like "you're only ___, you're still young and naive"
I must admit, I'd prefer it if people didn't provide information such as their age, school year, position in life, etc. because I am a shallow, superficial and biased being. However, I make some attempt to ignore it and treat them as any other respectable human.

I think I am the same ...lols...I find it harder to give advice or opinion if don't know certain details of people...its easier when you can refer to yourself when you were once at that age...

it definitely changes me judgment! but i think we're justified... the same advice doesn't work equally in all stages of life. the details definitely change the proper course of action.

I like the details, and oftentimes they're necessary. It's up to the person to be able to keep an objective mind when giving advice. if a 13 yr old is anxious to start dating, I never put them down for their naivete/maturity level; I tell them it's too early to stress over that stuff bc that is true.
Our species is the only creative species, and it has only one creative instrument, the individual mind and spirit of a man...

No, I actually never look at the age unless they post it and just try to give them mature, useful, advice because that's what they deserve, regardless of their age.
The fact of the matter is, they're gonna do whatever they want anyways, so I might as well give the best advice I can.

I don't change it nonetheless. It doesn't matter as much as to what the person's age is, what matters is their maturity level.
im forever yours, faithfully.
