What is the right amount of time that you should be spending with your boyfriends/girlfriends a week?

Personally, I'm pretty dependent and really enjoy having time by myself, just doing my own thing. I have school during all of weekdays and i usually like to relax for a day on the weekend and spend the other day with my boys, I'm pretty sure I don't have that much time for a girl.

I also don't want the hassle of talking to a girl everynight like my friends with gfs do. I really don't want to occupy the house phone for hours and my cellphone has a horrible data plan, i get like 60 minutes a month. In fact i hate talking on the phone, period.

Is talking on the phone an important part of a relationship? Does texting/instant messengers work?

I think I'll be a horrible boyfriend to be honest, do you think any girl would want a relationship with a guy like this?

LOL I agree with that. Once you find someone you really love, I think you would do anything for them.

If you truly love someone, your going to want to spend as much time as you can.. otherwise, something must be wrong with you. There is no "right" amount of time, it just depends on your schedules I guess and if you enjoy spending time together. like i'm always busy at school but at night if i'm done with all my homework then we'll go grab food and spend some time together. but if whole week we're busy then usually at least sundays together.. which is AT LEAST once a week.

I guess if your future gf doesn't mind about the whole phone thing.. but a lot of girls just like talking on the phone, texting, and every form of communication there is out there. Or at least that daily phone call / text to know you're still alive and thinking about them..

I only spend around an hour with my bf during weekdays due to work.
And we usually spend Saturdays together, though not as of late coz I've been pretty lazy.
We never talk on the phone. I don't like talking on the phone. But we do text all the time.

Agree with the first post. Even if you can't keep it up for long, the first few weeks/months in the honeymoon stage you won't be able to get enough of one another.

We practically live together... in the sense that I'm always at his house or he's always here with me at my house. We're rarely apart. I wish we could move out together so we don't have to be so sneaky lol

But, dude I'm exactly the same as you I don't like the phone thing :s I rarely talk on the phone.
You can find a girl who also doesn't enjoy talking on the phone haha or if they do you could just go out with them more to keep the relationship going. Personally I prefer real life over telephone cause you get to see them in person and you get to hug them and stuff. I LOVE HUGS! LOL

well my boyfriend used to be like that. He really changed since we went out. I'm the only one he talks to on the phone, and sleeps on the phone with.

I spend a lot of time with my bf, not so much on weekdays though. Some days we don't hang out at all when we're too busy with school, but on weekends I'm at his place most of the time.

we have this long distance thing going on. so we see each other once every 2 weeks if we're lucky
sometimes it stretches out to 3 weeks, at times 4 weeks.

but we talk on the phone every single day. i wake up to him in the morning, sleep to his voice at night. and during the day also even if it's just to drop a line for motivation.it`s refreshing and definitely a necessity for us both.

every other week or so we can spend 4-5 hours together on a friday or saturday..
