Ever referred to movies and dramas when giving advice?

LOL, sorry but I've never done that, ever.
It's almost like giving even more of a false hope to people, dramas/movies are far too exaggerated for me and other people's problems so I never really link it together.

Wow spot on there buddy! I was thinking the same exact thing!

I would never compare real life situations to that in a movie because like KOGE said, it brings their hopes up too much because a lot of these movies always have happy endings.

Well i wouldn't refer to what they did, but some of the things they say is right on the spot. An example of this would be Jaejoong in Finding Lost Time. He says to Micky, when asked about love and friendship, that they end up as one thing and you either have both or you have none of it.

I've actually had that happen to me before, and I do it on occasion sometimes just for kicks. xD

HAHA I always do this with my friends.
It's more when she talks about her crush and I just imagine how she can get to know him, or something like "he may be your destiny, someday you'll meet again, start a relationship, then have lots of babies..." things only happen in movies, dramas, fairytales...xD

I have never said that in any REAL advice I have given. I might have been joking around.. Movies aren't real. They're all formulated a certain way.. kinda like a recipe.

I refer to situations in movies but i NEVER say "it will work"

I usually just use it as a reference but always say "but thats a movie" ... in your situation _____ and blah blah blah
