Any bikers in the house? Gosh I'm blessed to be in a financial position to be able to afford these fairly expensive toys without being powered by Mom (if u know wut I mean).
Now that I'm growing older and the "crotch rocket" faze has passed, I decided to sell my GSXR and go in a different direction.
Was hella tired of pulling wheelies and getting madd flack from my Mom worried that I'll break an arm or a leg. Also tired of pulling crazy sick endo's while petrified what could happen if I slip up. The worst of it all was racing sometimes doing an excess of 200km/h trying to satisfy my "need for speed." I'm still young and have plenty of mileage left in me, plus dieing young is so unfulfilling.

Went to the Harley Davidson Dealership and copped a Harley Davidson Cruiser Bike. I've ridden my baby which I nicknamed Haley and its such a smooth ride. You thought a baby's bottom was soft? Pffft.. it ain't got nothing on this here ride, believe that!! Gonna buy some authentic Harley Davidson gear and get in some more rides before the weather turns lamer. Not to brag but I've gotten major attention from the females out there and it sure does stroke my ego an itty bit. Gonna miss my Gixxer, but thought its time to turn over a new leaf so to speak. Only thing that has peeved me off is these hardcore bikers giving me dirty looks as if I shouldn't be riding a Harley. Guess these goober kncokers believe Asians and Harley's is like oil and water. Never intimidated so long as God is by my side and always brushing my shoulders off to the h8ers.

Not sure but am I the only Soompier who rides a Harley? Whoaaaa... that would be stupid funky, eh?

god you are such a tool

so you make one thread b!tching about your friends cars and how the use a lot of gas and pollute yet you ride a bike? bikes pollute much more than cars do

"This story is about emissions. More specifically, it's about the surprising level of emissions spewing from on-road motorcycles and scooters. In California, such bikes make up 3.6% of registered vehicles and 1% of vehicle miles traveled, yet they account for 10% of passenger vehicles' smog-forming emissions in the state. In fact, the average motorbike is about 10 times more polluting per mile than a passenger car, light truck or SUV, according to a California Air Resources Board comparison of emissions-compliant vehicles."

"Emissions standards for motorcycles are already more forgiving than they are for cars, light trucks and SUVs. Not only are motorcycles allowed to emit more than cars, they are also tested at lower speeds, which pollutes less. And motorcycle manufacturers only have to ensure that their vehicles of 179 cc and above meet governmental emissions criteria for the first 18,600 miles of a bike's life, compared with 150,000 miles for cars."

"It's been my experience that straight-line acceleration is probably the first aspect of automotive performance that any intelligent driver gets bored with." - the late Peter Gregg

To add onto azn akira...

"While motorcycles are about twice as fuel-efficient as cars and emit less CO2, because they are unable to carry heavy equipment like catalytic converters, they release large amounts of nitrogen oxides, which results in the release of ten times more air pollution per mile than an average car."

So you're asking your friends to ditch their cars so you feel better at polluting for them?... mellow.gif

Not to BRAG but I transcended from the use of motor vehicles. I can fly. It's so fun, the air in my hair, the jealous looks, and most of all when I take a #2 I can lay the blame on birds. Plus it's good for the environment since I run on renewable fuels; choco taco, mt dew, and pizza.

Judging from your puberty acne, your mom bought you the bike. But I assume the bike belongs to your relative.

I would rather be hearing anything other then these bikes driving down the street.
Their straight up LOUD and annoying. (Especially when they blast their music)
Plus the majority of the people I encounter riding them are complete a-holes.

I don't hate many things, but loud hogs like Harley Davidsons I do hate. Do they sound that way from the factory? Or are they modified? I don't know anything about motorcycles.

Anyhoo that was a humorous post. Good to hear you're enjoying it. I've never seen an Asian on a Harley, but another make of bike I have seen. Not too weird. What's really weird is, when I was in Oakland I saw a Black guy on a hog playing Mariah Carey's Obsessed. I hope he just had the radio on haha.

I'm sure you've heard a motorcycle cop's exhaust. That's about the loudness of a stock exhaust on a cruiser bike. Most of the loud ones u hear are because they put straight pipes on or remove the baffles.

I never knew about the baffles part. I always thought they were that loud stock.

LOLOLOL
I hella agree with him about the unnecessary loudness to these motorcycles, since everyone that owns a Harley are loud as hell!

So you came in here to show off a bike 50 year old men buy when they hit their midlife crisis and think they should go on a "road trip"

How old are you, 13? news flash, You know when people turn and stare at riced out civics with fart cans? thats "attention" too

I dont know where to start. And like other people said, you wanna explain why you want others to go "green" while you drive a harley? Like i said before you are either 13 and if you are older I cant believe you got your license.

EDIT: HAHAHA i read one another one of this guys topics

You inconsistent douche-bag. You wanted to save the environment by cutting down on gasoline consumption, and you wanted to encourage your friends to do the same by having them sell their cars. Now you went and bought a gas guzzling motorcycle?

screw that, a douche-bag serves a purpose. you ... well .. you are just green tea.

*has anyone entertained the idea that green tea is the reincarnation of "Battle_Cat"?
