I'm fifteen and I have mild acne. My mother had rly bad acne but it was because she had liver problems or something, it's quiet amazing - she has no scars but from the way she explained it she had HUGE pimples covering her whole face. I tried the cavemen regime for like 6 months, didn't rly do anything to the existing pimples. I've had this pimples at the side of my nose for like three years now and whatever I do, they won't go away. Going to the derm is out of question so I was just looking around online and I was going to start using cetaphil cleanser with witch hazel as a toner. Does anyone know where I could buy them in Australia, Sydney?

To the people that have used either, did they help at all? And what worked for you to get rid of your acne?

Right now, I steam my face with sea salt water, wash my face with sea salt water and than put diluted lemon juice on my face for a while. I rly want to clear up my face, my sister had acne but hers is all cleared up and her skin's not perfect but it's heaps better than mine. It's weird that I've had pimples for longer than she has. D<

+ my mum said her face didn't clear up until she was like 28 years old. NOOOO ;___;

I'll edit with pictures once I take some pics.

I appreciate any help. I'm not all that stressed or worried about my acne, it's just there and it's always been there - I was like the first kid in my class to get pimples when I was 11! But I want them gone and I just don't know if I'm being impatient or what .. ;___;

I, and a lot of the Internet, highly recommend using green tea to wash your face.

i used cetaphil and witch hazel. my skin was really clear when i used those two. i had oily skin, so i didnt use moisturizer, only sunscreen as my moisturizer.

u can get cetaphil at any pharmacy in sydney, and witch hazel is even available in coles.

im not sure if its a good thing to steam your face with salt water then put lemon juice on it. i know you want to treat your skin, but its also not good to irritate it.

just try the cetaphil and witch hazel first to remove oil and dirt and see how you go

i have acne and i used some many products but i decided to change my eating habit and eating more vegetables, drink fresh juices and that naturally cleaned my acne but my acne is due to a live problem.

but for you, you are probably just going through the teen years. Just take care of your skin well.

I read on a beauty blog to drink water with a slice of lemon, it helps clear up acne because lemon kills bacterias and infections and such happy.gif drink a cup a day or more if you like, hope this helps, good luck! I am 20 and began sorta having a little bit of acne but it freaks me out because my face is usually clear sad.gif

Go to the dermatologist if you feel really insecure and I'm sure the doctors will prescribe you medicine. As for at home, try washing your face with green tea. I have mild acne too and surprisingly, it helps
