Girly girls vs. Tomy boys/gamer girls

BUT! I was wondering this, for guys, which do you prefer to hang out with? Girly girls? Or tom boys / gamer girls?
So! for example. A girly girl (in my definition) is a girl thats... well! really girly. She likes dresses, doesn't play video games, makeup, shopping, gossiping (that depends on the girl though) and etc.
The tom boy girl i'm talking about is not the one into sports. But more so video games. HOWEVER! The girl doesn't dress like a guy, but simply has the same intrests, and acts a little bit like a guy.
ex. girl plays games such as brawl, CS, SF4, MGS, etc etc.
Heh, this poll i guess is more so for a personally reference. Considering I could be considered a gamer? maybe? or more so otaku XD. I grew up with 2 older brothers, so i realized that i'm very boyish, however I still dress like a girl. XD heh, and all the example games are also personal favorites keke XD So I was thinking whether or not to continue like I am, or to... slightly change to a more girlier personality XD
OH! after you vote, say why! It'll be interesting XD
Thank you~ XDD

i know a lot of nice, down-to-earth girly girls and some mean and bullying tomboys. so, its all depends on the person.
i just like someone in between. ive been both, so i like the middle.

That is true, but a lot of humans tend to think in terms of stereotypes, and the set "girly girl" doesn't include "gaming"

Am I a girly girl or a tom boy?
Who knows.
But I think that I'm living proof that you can have the best of both worlds with little or no problem.

i actually don't really mind, i guess? okay, maybe i do...i think i might get along a bit better with the girls that fit your description for a tomboy...but i have lots of girly-girl friends. waittt, they're kinda tomboy too if i consider the gaming aspect. waittt now i'm confused. i guess my friends are both girly-girl and tomboy. a bit of both :]
honestly, the gossiping aspect, whoever it is, i don't like it. i understand that people need to let off a bit of steam if they get annoyed by someone...but i wonder, do people annoy you this often and this much?!! so i feel like they're just ranting/gossiping for the sake of it. honestly, i don't know what to do. i'm one of those people who don't want to upset people so i just listen and nod and such. i feel very uncomfortable. i don't know what to say or how to reply. i get highly stressed in these situations, thinking about what i should do. x_x

I don't like overly girly types as well as overly manly girls.
If you're balanced, it's fine.
My good friends are not tomboys but also isn't girly and I love them for being themselves.

such as
girly girls who know nothing other then fasion and make up
but tomboys
there are different catagories of them
like for me im interested in both the girly side along with the boyish side
im really tomboyish in the fact that i dress in a different style then the regular girly girl
but i still wear make up still into fashion but at the same time im into games and other stuff
O_O
its not like all tomboys are nerds

Before you have the privilege of expressing your opinion, at least make an attempt at proper punctuation, grammar and sentence structure.
P.S. It is not obvious. But judging by your writing skills, it will prb. take you a decade to realize this.

Hell yeah.
I equally like fashion/makeup and video games/NBA/NFL...
Being a girly girl does not essentially mean you are bad with money and/or clingy, uptight.
Being a girl gamer does not mean you are a no-life geek..
But whatever.. these are stereotypes although I don't really know any girl that fits into these categories.
