I've been looking for new headphones lately and these caught my attention. Not only because G-Dragon wore them <3 But because they are extremely stylish and I've read some reviews that say they have awesome bass. Basically what I'm trying to ask is are they worth it? And if they're not, can you recommend me some headphones that are comparable to them. Thanks biggrin.gif

They're nice and I would totally get them if I could afford them, but I don't think they're worth the high price. You can get much better headphones for $300 I think. But if you like them and can afford them, why not? I had the earbuds (they were stolen sleep.gif) and I loved them.

They look nice, has it's decent quality for the high price.

Not a bad choice if you are willing to drop some money!

Nope. Anything by Bose is a joke really. Overpriced compared to what you can get elsewhere. I'd look into Sennheiser.

Sennheiser HD650 is probably going to be the headphone to beat at that price point. It's widely respected and it's been out since forever and still pretty much on top of the game today. About $350. It's a tad ugly, but if it's form over function, it's a good buy. You may also need an amp to go with it to take full advantage of it.

DR. Dre is from Monster.

Sennheiser is good headphone. Too bad a there are too many people who actually puts stuffs such as ibud in their ears.

lol, sorry. Just Bose pops to my head for poor audio to price. Monster is notorious for overpriced wares as well.

Yeah, I saw someone on the street with it.
All eyes were definitely on him.
My friend and I went up to him and told him "crap... those are worth 300 dollars"
and he just laughed uncomfortably and nodded.

If you have the money, I think its worth it.
If you have to save up for these, I don't think its worth it.

Oh darn. Lol I have to save up for them >.<
If you don't think it's worth it then can you recommend me some stylish headphones with really good base oh and they cannot leak because I heard that these leak really bad.

i had these recently, they were nice looking but major sound leakage. i was disappointed, they're so nice looking and i thought i could deal with other shortcomings, but just save your money and buy better, cheaper headphones.

They're good headphones, but at that price and you're really paying for the name. You can get headphones that have the same sound quality (or better) for cheaper.

i think it depends what you use it for. just listening to music during your train ride? i don't think it's worth it. maybe for DJ-ing? prob worth it but i'mma noob at these specs so u should look into that.

I bought these purely for style as an accessory when I'm out and about. Obviously, I echo the sentiments of the shortcomings listed above and restate that if you want quality sound (in the 300+ range) these are not the ones to get.
I'm that a**hole you paged at 3am for a surgery consult about a pt. in the ER complaining of abdominal pain

i tried them once & they were pretty good. i like the design & all, but it's so attention-attracting. it's like a big flashing sign above your head directing someone to go steal it or something. i'd rather have something more low-key. i heard the ear-buds are good (never tried them). i would go for those, plaus they're loads cheaper.

i just got them ( mostly for looks) and as far as sound quality they are really good and very comfortable. But they do leak sound. But i mean they come with a lot of accessories like the airplane jack, and the hands free if u wanna plug it into a phone, a really heavy duty case, batteries, cleaning cloth an amp jack. And the cord that connects the headphone to the mp3/ipod/whatever can be removed from the headphones so if thats ever damaged u dun have to get new headphones unlike many other headphones. Overall i think they still are a bit to much. Maybe try to get them off ebay? i got mine from this guys store for only 200.

they're releasing a smaller version of beats called solo sometime this month! for those who don't like how big the beats are, these would probably be a better option. but idk if the sound quality is gonna be degraded or upgraded... gotta wait until they come out to test them out at bestbuy. i think they're around 179$ or something...

and also! new earphones are coming out this month as well called heartbeats by lady gaga! if the sound is really as good as they claim for it to be, then i think i'll be getting myself a pair.

Yeah, I've been thinking about getting the Heartbeats by Lady Gaga but now that I hear about those slimmer version of beats I might just wait. Okay now that I've seen the Beats Solo, I'm getting both the Heartbeats AND the Beats Solo, that's if they live up to my expectations. Which they will because mines aren't that high XD.
