I have to admit that I go for looks over personality. The looks lure me in... but in the end, personality is the deciding factor. However, there have been times where I've gotten to know a guy and his personality made him attractive although he may not have been a looker in the first place haha.

Anyways, the answer always varies by person, but the raw truth is that we all notice people first by their looks. Some people determine whether they want further communication or not with an individual based right off of looks (clothing style, height, face, etc). Then, we determine who we really want to get to know better based off of their personality, interests, etc.

Looks can be deceiving, and beauty doesn't last forever, but when she smiles I get the happiest feeling. I don't ask too much when it comes to looks, she can be decent. Personality is most important to me because if I am to spend the rest of my life with her, she must have a good personality =) Besides my parents always tell me not to marry someone too pretty because other guys would flirt with her. I don't want to be hurt, and always concerned about her meeting other guys. I rather have someone decent and not too good looking.

Well, I always believe that people look at looks first.
You kind of have to look somewhat attractive to be approached ;
But I think the first impression is looks, unless you kind of have an accidental meeting in a way and find a nice/sweet person.

1- Initial attraction aka looks, which make me interested in the guy.
2- Getting to know him aka personality
