Could someone tell me if I'm on the right track?

Here is my dieting routine. Could someone look and see if I'm doing the right things please? smile.gif I want to lose around 15 pounds.

Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday

Run for 30 mins on the treadmill right after waking up with no breakfast. I drink a cup of green tea before running.
Light breakfast afterwards and off to school. Lunch and dinner are also light. Lots of water. I take another cup of green tea in the evening.


Tuesday, Wednesday

No time to run in the morning so I go to the gym around 3 PM. Work out for around an hour.
Light meals and lots of water. Green tea in the morning and evening.


Strength Training


I try to do ab and arm exercises around 3 times a week.

Meals

I try to eat meals that are low in carbs and with a decent amount of protein. I eat at least one fruit or vegetable a day. I try to limit my rice intake.

u realli need to specify what u eat
u need substantial amounts of food to keep the bodi fueled..
its ok to have a bigger breakfast
medium lunch n a smaller dinner..
and have snacks in between.. healthy ones

if u try out ur routine for 2 wks..see if u make ne progress
then u know ur on the rite track smile.gif

Okay. By a light meal, I mean something like:

some grilled chicken breast and salad.
1 cup of soy milk

I guess it depends on your weight and height. You shouldn't loose pounds if you are skinny.

That is sounds a little horrible, although you didn't specify what you eat. where's your fruits? at least 1 isn't gonna cut it, where is your fiber?

What's your light breakfast? maybe have it as oatmeal biggrin.gif Diversify your meals, you might not be getting enough vitamin or mineral you need


You can have some carbs, go for Whole wheat stuff.

I wonder how long you can do this... I don't think you can do it for very long.. I know you want to lose 15lbs, but you have to keep a lifestyle that prevent you from regaining that weight back...
