For those who tried anorexia or any type of starving then extreme workouts, how do you do it?
No i'm not saying i'm gonna try because there's no way i can.
Whenever i'm hungry and i go jog, i would faint or just get really light headed which eventually leads to fainting and that's just from missing one meal.
So how in the world do people who starve themselves and exercise survive? o_O or am i just a special case?

i think its really.. a mental state kind of thing.. or well.. has to do with the mind but thats based on the one friend i have who hmm.. dipped her foot in to anorexia but got help before it became a severe case, even now she still is a very insecure person. it was really.. subtle i didn't even notice at the time but thinking back she would only ever eat say a few crackers at lunch time but yeah i guess it begins with this deep insecurity and lack of confidence and then actually acting on it.. their perception of theirselves is warped and distorted and shrug ah i don't know haha! heck iono
OH but i did watch an actual documentary once in health class? of an anorexic patient in rehab and.. it really is a mental thing like.. she'd view any food as her enemy whereas we love food, love the taste and what not.. but she would see it purely as calories and fattening.. hm and yes as i said about the perception thing.. even though she was rail thin, when asked, she thought she was fat when compared to someone who was actually much bigger than her.
and no lol i wouldn't say your a special case, very common actually.. hmm to starve themselves and exercise constantly.. i think it would require immense willpower and control but which is put into a really negative and unhealthy way of thinking? lol wordvomit ack!

First of all, you can't TRY anorexia.
It's a mental illness.
I repeat, a mental ILLNESS.
Same with other variants of it - that manifest through extreme exercising, or extreme restriction of food groups in the name of eating healthy.
Second of all, you can TRIGGER anorexia by starting bad habits - like skipping meals, repeated dieting and excessive worrying about your looks and your weight. Of course some people are more mentally stable then others. But those BAD habits are bad regardless.
Third - naive girls who think anorexia is some kind of fad you DABBLE into, or think it's FASHIONABLE - seriously, smack yourself up the head for being so ungrateful of having life and being in good health. That's better then how many people on this planet?
And to try to MIMIC people with anorexia? It's a SERIOUS MENTAL ILNESS, with the HIGHEST DEATH RATE of all female mental illnesses. Who wants pure mental hell? It's not about being skinny, it's about DISSAPEARING. When you're an anorexic, you're never skinny enough. You just lose weight until you DIE, and hate yourself all the way to the coffin.
