Have you ever had a boy tell you he wants to take things slow because he wants to make sure God approves of your relationship??

That's way too religious for me. Plus, when there are other problems God might get in the way and the situation will become tense. Better off not even getting with one.

When I went to church it was a pretty common thing. But then again, both people thought the same way, so maybe that makes a difference.

LOLLOLLOL. That's too much for me. I mean, I believe in God and I'd respect his decision .. but if he wants to wait for 'a message' from the holy above, then I'm a goner.

No. . . I'd just drop him and move on.
But seriously.
How is he going to get approval from god?

How the hell do you get God's approval? If he's displeased with the relationship does he smite you with a bolt of lightning? Wtf.

Uh no... If any boy did that, I would lose interest in him right away. That's just too religious for me. =/

I like the answer because I am one of those few people who wants God's approval too. So, it's cool with me. biggrin.gif

So how does God show his approval? Or does the guy just decide by himself whether God would approve or not.

If I was in a relationship with him I wouldn't like it, if I did something and suddenly, out of the blue my boyfriend glares at me and goes: "God does not approve." I mean how would I know??

I would likely run for the hills. I try to be tolerant though, so I think I'd stay until they started hearing God's voice speaking to them, and then I'd be out for sure.

No. But he sounds like he's a man of God and to me, that is very attractive. God is also most important to me and I believe that a relationship without a foundation in Him will go nowhere. It is so rare to see a guy like that nowadays. So if he is serious...I think that's great! And what's so bad about taking things slow?
