So met this guy at a sorority/frat party (my first party), and he was really cute. He is freshman at my college and I am a sophomore. I am shy and I never had a boyfriend before. But I was really brave and I asked this guy for his phone number and told him he was really cute. After I got his number something happened at the party and everyone at the party had to split.


I a newbie at relationships. and personally if i was a guy and met her at a crazy party would not ask her on a date (thinking that she is a party girl) but i thought he was really cute and sweet. How and when do I ask him on a date. I only asked him his phone number and never had a chance to put my number on his phone.

Ugh i am going crazy... my friends think i should call him on Tuesday and ask him out.

Texting is uber good because it might get weird on a actually phone call. Going to a casual coffee date for starters is a good way. Maybe he's different in the light. If anything n chose to ignore you it was juss a thing at a party so no strings attach.

You shouldn't be nervous about anything at all. He already knows you like him and you're interested, obviously, that's why you asked for his number in the first place, so the hard part is over! Now, if it were me, I would just text him a bit, maybe get his screen name if he uses AIM or anything, and then talk via that until something happens.

but seriously, just try and call him and talk to him casually. if you feel awkward, then wait for that "unawkward" moment. but i don't think it's a good thing to wait for the next time you two bump into each other before trying to contact him.
