I am fat. I didn't used to be. I used to dance, bike, and swim, but then I started working while going to school full time. I barely had time to finish my homework, let alone work out and watch everything I ate. Throw in a pulled shoulder, followed by torn knee cartilidge, followed by six years of chiropractic care to fix my neck and back problems, and thin went out the window. My chiropractor said my back was bad enough that I could have applied for disability. I felt there were others who needed it more and kept working even though it meant coming home and crying from the pain for two hours every night. When you are in that much pain, you don't cook. You eat whatever is easiest to get, and that was Wendy's or Dairy Queen hot dogs on the employee discount at my work. Some of you may say that Wendy's does have salads so I could have eaten those. No, I couldn't have. I have some weird allergy that makes my tongue and throat itch if I eat uncoooked fruits and vegetables. However, I am finally pain free most of the time, but now I have all that weight to lose. I know how to cook better food, but it will take time to get the weight off.
For those of you who hate fat people, consider there could be a reason behind how they got fat other than that they are simply lazy. I would bet a good many formerly thin people have become fat because of back injuries that keep them from moving around. If I hadn't worked through my injury I would probably be pushing 300lbs instead of the 210 I'm currently at.

I injured my spinal disk and had to stop any overhead lifts and leg work. Focused on bench press and chin-ups. Put on a lot of muscle and was disciplined in my cutting approach.
It all comes down to laziness. If you are injured, focus on other things like light workouts and reducing food intake. Discipline is missing, hence the lazy tag that I hold in my mind.
