Yea, I feel like I have so much to accomplish and time is running out. I need to make money, go to graduate school, get my dream job, make enough money to buy a home, make enough money to go on the vacations I want before having kids, save up for marriage, etc.

if u guys get out of college @ age of 22, lucky for you guys and congrats for being able to stay in school consecutively without stopping it. @rainbow-lotus, my bro is.. what.. 22 23 or something and hes 1st year as well, im bit better than him im like a bit past 1st year @ age of 20. Nothing to be happy about either. When u think about it, ppl who grad @ age of 22 or earlier are really lucky, they still have lots of time to change their direction and goals. So 22 aint old @ all!

I'm currently 21, and will be 22 next month. The thought of me becoming a year older has sadden me. Has anyone ever felt this way or is it just me?

Yes I feel your pain. When I was turning 22, i dread it. Now that I am 22, I feel sad...no real friends to hang out with anymore. *sniffs* sad.gif The next year, I'll be turning 23, oh god, don't torture me! I want to eat pho today and nobody wants to go with. again *sniffs*

I'm a bit scared of life after college. That's when real life starts.

I agree with you! Sometimes I wish I was a freshmen in college again! *sigh*

But I think if you're still in your 20's you're still young! You only become old when you're married and have kids... now that's responsibilities!

Geez, am I an old fart or what compared to most of you guys on here? The 20s are the times to have fun and enjoy life before actually making those big decisions.I didn't get to experience much of my 20s, but definitely time will fly by when you are done with HS. I'm 31 and as a woman in her 30s you notice a lot of different changes to yourself - body, mind, and lifestyle. I used to think it was sad now I just take it one day at a time and enjoy what I can in life. You start to realize about life and the worth of it. I celebrate my birthdays and getting older. Some people aren't fortunate enough to celebrate it so why should I not be thankful for it.

Life is good....make it memorable right?

Hi all

Using this more as an introduction I am new to the site, I just turned 24 and am feeling old as hell, I guess it doesn't help that all my friends are either really old or a lot younger than me, being British and living in a small town in China doesn’t help either!

Everyone has just got to keep their heads up and enjoy life (and youth) while we have it

You're not alone there =D I'm 30, though i'm a boyo. Reading through all these posts I think that everyone needs to take a step back and reset their thinking. Getting all wound up about the rest of your life in your 20s is waaaaaaaaaaaay too early.

When I was cruising through my 20s I enjoyed each cool moment as it came. I graduated from uni at 21. I volunteered at the olympics then got a full time job that same year. Got made redundant from that job, went back to uni for another 2 and a half years to do my masters. I travelled, I studied. After graduating I worked for 3 years, travelled some more during that time and have now moved to England for work which will also feature MORE travelling.

The thing is that I look back through my 20s and find that I accomplished quite a bit, saw the world a little, understood things a little better. However when you're IN your 20s you always think that nothing much really got done. When you hit 30 and look back, you'll realise all the little things that you did in your 20s add up to a whole lot. However, in your 30s you'll turn your (hopefully) matured eyes on the world and realise that the world is still at your fingertips. You just have to seize the moment.

Reading all the comments and most of the people complaining about their age are below 25!!!

You guys don't know what life is like after you've passed the 25 mark. Looking back on those school days I feel like its been ages since I just "hung out" with friends, and complained about not being old enough to do anything..lol

I don't get the chance to complain about being too old now cause I work at a place where everyone is older than me and they call me "kiddo." Hearing that everyday it makes me think I'm still in my early 20's. But there is always the downside to everything...I also hear " you're not experienced enough" when it comes to work and that really bugs me.

I guess there is an upside and down to everything....ahhhh

I'm content. I've been having a blast ever since I changed my views on life a few years ago.

I'm 21 too. I'm absolutely, damn, loving it. Learning the things I love to learn about, knowing my future plans, trying to cope with what the problems I have, trying to be positive and realistic, going out with the boys and drinking every night in college, and the girls -- I love women. It's all goooooooooood.

Turning 20 freaked me out, haha. Cause no more teen years and because I haven't lived out my life as excitedly as I wanted to, I feel like time is slipping through my hands. However, I've been trying to change my way of thinking. Just because I'm getting older doesn't mean I can't have fun :] I'll have the rest of my life to do what I want to do.

I've realised that with every year that goes by I accomplish more in my life and I look better and my career has suddenly sky rocketed.

Nothing to be sad about IME...
