So I just went to the dermatologist yesterday to find out why my back has all these white spots. Its really nasty looking so I want to get it checked out.
Found out its a pretty common skin disease on people and hard to cure. Develops during the summer or humid days and slowly fade away during the winer.
How many of you people have this?
and what do you do?

I have a small map of white spots on my arm, I doubt it's Pityriasis Versicolor. But I'll leave it alone since you stated it 'slowly fades away during the winter.'

Yes, I did plenty of research. My dermatologist prescribed to me OXISTAT and told me to use SELSUN BLUE.
So far wash the area infected with selsun blue. Leave it on for 10 minutes and wash it off. Do this daily for 2 weeks & then once a week afterwards.
Then apply the OXISTAT cream or lotion on the area twice a day for 2-3 weeks.
Hopefully after one month, it will be cured. If not, you can go one step further. Ask your doctor for ORAL ANTIFUNGAL PILLS.
It can get worse so Im trying to cure it. Its basically fungus and yeast infection growing and affects as much as 5% of people in the U.S.
