awwwww

Don't worry. Welcome week is a whole lot of fun, especially just realizing that you are essentially living away from parents forever. Its kind of intimidating realizing that while you're walking on the street that first day that you're away from home, but then again... its kind of an exciting freedom..

Anyways, you'll have a lot of fun, especially if you live in the dorms. Make sure to get along with your roommate and your floormates. Chances are you'll find a lot of friends amongst the 30 ppl on your floor, or the floor above and below. Just enjoy welcome week and take the initiative to meet new people and introduce yourself.

Same thing as always - Enjoy yourself, be open to new ideas, don't force yourself into any unwanted decisions.

Oh yea, you may want to bring a long sleeved thing with you if you plan on being out in the evenings because it sometimes gets cold.

Welcome week as a freshman was a really good experience. Go into it excited smile.gif

Any specific concerns?

Haha, thanks. I'm not too concerned. I guess the only thing I'm worried about is navigating through Berkeley. Blind people have a better sense of direction than I do. lol. sweatingbullets.gif

LOL. That'd make the two of us. I have such a bad sense of direction-- I still get lost on campus
all the time and I am always 15-20 minutes late to class (Berkeley time!), it's so horrible!

Hmmm. I need a morning walk buddy. Anyone up for brisk morning walks from 6:30-7:30am each morning?

I love me alot, alot, so you should all love me alot, alot, too!

Hey you guys. So.. I was wondering what were all of you guys SAT I and SAT II scores? and what subject tests did you take? I want to make it into UC Berkeley and yeah, I'm basically trying to compare myself and see if I have a chance. :)

Don't bother comparing yourself to others.
You should be able to pull the stats from
Collegeboard. The criteria for acceptance isn't
clear-cut so I don't see how comparing yourself
to people here would help you. I wouldn't waste my
time on it-- instead, I'd spend that time either studying,
volunteering or on a hobby.

Anyone here taking summer session?
Want to study together? I usually study better
around people b/c I don't allow myself to get as distracted.

Also, any early risers who fancies early morning strolls?
