I start the class tomorrow, and I'm pretty nervous because I hear alot of people complaining about how hard it is. The class I'm taking meets on FRIDAYS 8-12 then 1230 - 4. which is crazy, because thats 10 hours in one day! I'm not sure if it is though, im just writing what it says on my enrollment list. I really don't want to drop the course, but if I have to, I will. What are some things you do in there, besides labs and the lecture part of the course? What grades did you make in there? And any other information that you know of, please share! Thank you!

well if it's meeting once a week, that sounds perfectly reasonable. for my microbio class, in a week, we had 3 hours of lecture + 1 hour of lecture discussion + 1 hour of lab discussion + 4 hours of lab. all that in one day pretty much equals what you have. but wow, all that on one day? like who the heck made the schedule. freaking crap.

i just hope you have gentle hands. i ruined so many agar plates. LOL.

I have this class.. We meet twice a week and its only limited to 6 ppl in my school.. Lucky enough I made it through this class!!... 1st 2 weeks wasnt as hard.. but as time goes by.. I am freakin gettin stressed!.. like seriously iys getting more complicated as I thought... but we cant give up!!!! HwaitinG!! =)

this is included on my major subjects. and it's a miracle that i passed.

for me, it's hard but my classmates seem to be ok with the subject. this also made me paranoid. knowing the different microorganisms and what they does in the body... CREEPY! xD i almost developed an OCD because of this.

I had that last semester. We meet three times a week (MWF) for lecture and one lab on Thursday. It was actually a very fun class, l loved all the labs that we did. The lecture was fun too (cuz the professor was very nice and know how to teach). So I managed to pass that class with an A

I took it last semester, basically, its a bunch of memorization. I freaked out when I first started the class also. I think A & P was more of a challenge. Then again I was always stuck with the hardest teachers in the department. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying it's easy because it does consist of a lot of studying. It's mainly about germs, the different names for a bacteria, fungi, algae, protozoan etc. There's a few physiology you'll have to know. Other than that, it wasn't that bad Don't let those people scare you. My final was cumulative, but I think my teacher was one of the only ones that gave a cumulative final for Micro. I ended up making a high B in the class and if I can do it you can do it!
