I'm not sure if there's a thread like this but please close if it's a repost [:
well last night I was deleting messages on my phone ( I deleted 376 or something
from 480, this was only my inbox too @~@; ) I found I deleted ones from
certain people from my school but I kept the ones from my texting buddies
who are out of the country and the ones I thought were funny. So what type
of text messages do you keep and who from ?

Woahh my first thread in this section XD

I always keep all the messages I've recieved throughout the whole year (except for the ones from my phone company and such advertising their new phone plans) and at the end of the year, I just delete them all tongue.gif I don't know what the point of doing that is but it's a habit.

Well since my current phone has a ton of storage on it and it's not that old, I haven't had the need to delete anything yet.

But on my old phone, I always deleted the boring ones, like "hey I'll be in there in 10mins" etc lol. But I even keep the msgs associated with bad memories. I just don't like the feeling of deleting something that was important to me at the time smile.gif

I delete my messages weekly.
I only keep the ones that are really funny or cute and the ones sent on special occasions.

I usually delete my messages after I read them lol, unless it is a really sweet message.

i delete the ones that dont have a significant meaning
to me. I usually keep the texts i get from my boyfriend
when it's something really sweet, when he tells me
"Happy ___ together!" even the ones that give me a bad
memory. Or if it's to long to keep, i just write it down on
a notebook and delete it smile.gif

Most of the time, I don't even bother deleting them. Not unless they are really deep and secretive (which is rare).

If they hilarious, meaningful or special for me, I would keep.

i delete my inbox msgs whenever they hit 300. But I save the sweet text messages from my boyfriend. I just love reading them when I'm bored.

I have to delete all the messages because of my phone's storage limit. I never keep any but I wish I did because there were some good memories beyond these messages! sad.gif

I also keep some sweet messages even though some are just one liners. even one word. haha

but other than that,I delete unimportant and insignificant ones.

I wish I had a bigger memory card though so that I could keep some REALLY nice quotes which I really had to delete. huhuhuhu

Not so much with text messages, but I do keep certain emails and chatlogs.
