well i know a couple of people your age who got jobs in fast food joints, go and try to apply in those areas first.
if they won't accept you, try asking some people for like easy jobs around your area, this can most likely include grocery stores etc.
good luck! smile.gif

There isn't much job for minors to do, it'll be hard but you can try part time jobs in grocery stores, nearby markets, etc. Maybe you won't be able to make a lot but it's better than nothing. :/

I can only think of fast food places that would hire you. Like a Subway (I'm going to get a job there lol) but yeah, if you guys have those county fairs or whatever, you can always ask to get a job there. I know some people that made over 600 dollars for just working a week there.

hm like everyone has said..if you live in the US it might be hard cause usually they give jobs to 16+ or some require 18+... all i can think of is fast food joints, try that.
hope you find a job! i would like to work as well since extra cash is nice as a teen or to any person actually but everything is 16+. and plus i'm not legal to drive yet haha

I'm suspecting that you're a freshman since you said you were 14 (unless you're in 8th grade then don't bother continuing cause this only works if you're in high school). In my school, they provide people this thing called worker's permit where they could apply for jobs in the public with it. Go to your counselor and ask if they offer it to students in your school.

I think you're too young to get a real job :/
But if you're trustworthy, you can babysit your neighbor's kids?

Most part time jobs require you to be at least 16. Try something else like babysitting, lawnmowing, have someone pay you to do their homework, or selling things on soompi or ebay.

You should talk to your counselor about things other than the job hunt as well.

BAKE SALEEE!!

bake some stuff and sell it at....idk . anywhere . door to door? a little stall? whatever suites you .

if people arent gonna hire you, it's better to be productive and 'hire' yourself . i was gonna suggest an online boutique but since you're not on good terms with your parents....i'm assuming you dont have much cash reserve?

i'll come back once i think of more! i'm 15 as well and if all goes well, i'll start working at roxy in two weeks! biggrin.gif (but thts also because i know some peopleeee hahaha)
