First, this is a great idea! <3 I've actually been rather depressed that I lost motivation so quickly the last time I started up a diet/exercise plan.
Name: Chee
Problem: I lose motivation to keep working out and eating healthier after four or five days every single time I start. I know, I fail so hard.
Goal: I want to lose one dress size by the end of November. Ultimately, though, I want to meet my "ideal" weight size and keep it in at least one year.
About yourself: I've never believed in diets since I have read and heard that diets will work for awhile but once you get off the diet plan you are very likely to gain all the weight back.

Instead, I've tried going toward the changing my eating habits all together route. The problem there is that I end up craving my comfort foods and candy and I tell myself, "Screw it, forget you granola!" and end up eating a lot of spaghetti. So my main thing with food is trying to find a balance in eating healthy and yummy but not over indulging. I suck at knowing when to stop eating, especially on the weekends and when I get home from work. I have been thinking about having a routine of meals:
Breakfast: - Water
- Granola bar
Lunch: - Water
- A sandwich/baked salmon
- Fruit (banana/apple/etc.)
Snack: - Granola bar
- Water
Dinner: - Water
- ???
Any ideas on healthy dinner items. I tried out eating a lot of baked fish and broccoli but I get tired of it quickly. And other ideas on my meal plan?
Working out....gaaah, I tried running for 30 minutes every week day and also doing push ups and crunches every other day for 15 minutes along with playing Wii Sports for 20 to 30 minutes every day I ran, but after a week, I was like, "Ulgh, forget this," and picked up my habits of watching tv and playing Guitar Hero instead. This is probably my main issue: lack of motivation to continue to work out.
Sara: I am in the same boat! When I was 12-13 I became sooooo freaking paranoid that I was fat because my older sister was a size zero and she and my mom kept telling me I was too big to fit into the clothes my sister wore (Asian women, man T__T), so I got depressed that I didn't want to think about my body....it really backfired. I look back at my middle school and freshman photos and realized that I was perfectly fine. Now though, need to lose weight!
Some things I learned you guys might find helpful

:
-Having small goals tend to work better than focusing on a big goal (IE. have a goal to workout for the week and congratulate yourself that you did it all week instead of focusing on your "I need to lose 10 lbs by next month"). I guess when you don't meet your long term goals or you feel like you aren't going to get there, it brings you down more than encourage you to keep working hard.
-Mint curbs your appetite. Chew that mint gum when you crave something!
-Working out too much can cause your immune system to break down, so don't feel the need to work out every day for hours.
Gals, it seems we have really similar problems. XD I hope we can motivate each other to become fit. Sorry I wrote so much.
