i am having a hard time staying motivated i have been following a strict diet for about a month and a half i am happy with my weight loss but i am still far away from my goal .. my craving for sweets has really gone down and i don't eat as much as before
i lost 5 kg since i started and i have 5 more to go ...

for motivation i usually watch 2pm videos i dunno but they motivate me by how hard they try to be better,, and how they are always working harder to reach their goals..

Haven't done anything since I last posted here. I feel like a total failure, again. T__T I'm keeping track of my calorie intake now (aiming for about 1500 right now, and I plan to go down to 1300 next month), but I stare at my trendmill and don't do anything. I don't know why I just sit there and refuse to run.

And I feel petty and selfish, but I found out that one of my friends lost like 50 pounds after six or so months of hard work! I felt so discouraged when I read her FB post on it. I am proud of her for losing all that weight, but it just made me realize that I suck for not trying to lose weight.

Emotional self pity over, I must hype myself up to work out every day after work. biggrin.gif Although, I might ruin my calorie intake at the Halloween party I'm attending this weekend. D=

I actually becoming more motivated now in my healthy eatting and exercise than before because I joined the gym and I'm a membership now so I have to go like 3 times a week to make it worth it.
Plus everytime when I go to the gym I don't feel like eatting because of all the hard work I have to do.

So my tip for a winter weight loss is:
membership for gym!!!!!!!!!

Name: Emily

Problem: REALLY hard to lose weight no matter what I try T_T and losing the motivation to continue exercising

Goal: lose 10-15 pounds before April (yesss i got time xD) must look nice for summer and senior year that's coming up!

About Myself:
- i'm really lazy lol
-hate my calves because they are really bulky (what did i do what i was a kid?!)
-lame parents that always say i'm not fat blah blah. Once i was doing exercises and my dad walked by and said "what are you doing? exercising? you're retarded..."
- i hate running ...and running outside but my parents won't buy me a treadmill so gotta deal with that. oh and the fear of getting big calves again
- i'm getting really depressed over the fact that i've tried a bunch of workouts for a month already with no visible results.
- i'm still in school so i have to eat school lunches which are usually nasty so when there are tasty stuff, i tend to get them though they aren't the healthiest

This is something I really needed!

Name: Carlin

Problem: Cravings, overeating, and not going through with my plans for weight loss. ;w; Also eating when I feel bored. <--- not good!!

Goal: The type of body that Victoria's Secret models have! Okay, I know that's aiming pretty high but I'm really hoping I can fulfill this goal someday. But until then, even a little bit to help me get closer to this goal is worth it and counts. I also plan on doing this the healthy way and NOT starving myself or doing fad diets. Oh and to find some fun stuff to do. I remember when I was extremely addicted to RO I forgot about eating so much that I lost 8lbs in two months lol...

About yourself: I was previously doing '4 weeks to a better body' but stopped at the beginning of the third week because I was extremely busy with school. But I don't think that I was able to push myself enough with that though because I never felt really tired or sore afterward. This time I'm going to try something different and hopefully it's more of a challenge...

Morning All,

When any of my clients feel like quitting or are finding motivation really hard I try and help them reinforce the picture in their mind of what they do want to look like, where they want be, what their goals are and WHY they want to change.

You must use the positive things things to help you get to your goals. Have an image in your mind of what you want to look like, ignore the voices in your mind that say that you cant do that or that junk food will be easier or nicer - they wont be in the long run. You have to believe you can get to your goal and believe you can and that you are worth it. Keep telling yourself these things all day everyday.

Eventually a new lifestyle will become the normal thought process for you!

YOU CAN BE AWESOME - just let yourself be.

Name: Ellie

Problem: o.e; I have no self-control when eating!!

Goal: Twenty pounds by February

About yourself: I'm sixteen years old, a high school junior, and I live in a house with eight other people. There's always junk in the house because the guys that live in the house have serious sweet tooth. -.-; I try to work out in the morning but recently I've been staying up late to do homework so I don't wake up early enough to work out. I am going to try and fix my sleeping pattern, eat healthier of course and MAKE time to work out. I'm sick and tired of feeling disgusting and unhappy.

i guess the only real way to lose weight is to commit 100%.
Stop thinking of exercise as just an option but a necessity.

Problem: Lazy, has trouble controlling appetite, and, of course, needs motivation :/

Goal: Ideally, lose 20lbs before February (special event happening xD), but I'd be happy with half the amount :)

About Myself:
- 14yrs, 5'6, around 132lbs
Although my BMI tells me I'm at a healthy weight for my height, I don't do any exercise AT ALL, eat masses, and I'm chubby. :/ I've started getting into fashion, and would like to go clothes shopping without feeling self-conscious of my body... but I don't want people, especially my parents, to think I'm over concerned to lose weight (I don't know why, I'm weird? x_________X;;). I don't really have anywhere to exercise, but I don't want that to bother me. School work has been piling up recently (I'm the type who leaves everything 'till the last minute -__-;;), so I don't have a lot of time. :/

BTW, I think this is a really good idea, I've actually felt a little more motivated already! xDD Thanks!

workout videos.
they don't require space, and a lot of them don't use weights
(though you could use 500ml water bottles or anything you have lying around)
one of my favourite vids is jillian michaels Banish Fat, Boost Metabolism.
it makes you sweat tons and uses no weights at all!

there's also No More Trouble Zones, The Biggest Loser Cardio Max, anything with yoga etc.

you can rent them at blockbuster, or buy them cheap on amazon. *coughyoutubecough*

*squeals!!!
Hopefully I can loose weight with the help of soompiers!!

Name: Wendy

Problem: I tend to eat when I have nothing to do, which means I eat everyday since I am grounded and can not do anyhting. Currently my parents are forcing me to quit my school activites so I'm stuck at home with food just 10 steps away.

Goal: Umm, well I guess its pretty much to loose weight...pribably around 10 to 20 ounds I guess. Just enough to fit a size 0 or 1 or 2...LOL.

About Yourself: I am 14 years old, weighs 120 idk my scale is kinda broken and that's what it says so yea....
My height is 5'2 1/2. I'm a freshman in high school. And my motiviation is to have a flat tone stomach by at least summer or the beginning of sophmore year...
but idk if its possible in my environment right now since I'm grounded. aDn Halloween just passed by and there's lots of andies,,,,but I'll try my best!!
I want to lose fat in every area I guess, esp. the stomache and leg and arms....which pretty sums up to everything LOL!!

well my plan is speed walking home everyday which takes 34 mins. Eat a smaller portion of food my mom makes.
Which is asain, which is rice.....but yea I'll try to eat healthy food!!
Any suggestions??
