I have never been more thankful to an exercise routine. This kept an 8 year old girl (that I had to look after) entertained for half an hour before she went all spazz again. At least she stayed quiet and calm for half an hour, so thankful....

I don't understand how this would work.. unless you're really unfit to begin with.

it should add strength and more muscle to your leg. have you even tried it? it looks really easy but when you try it, it actually does work your muscles. just do them a little longer if your leg already does have a lot of muscle.

and...tiffany pretty much has gorgeous legs. why wouldn't it be effective? of course it varies from person to person but it's just something an individual has to try out themselves, not go the lazy route and ask others if it does. ;P

^ There is this exercise you can do that's really simple.
Put a yellow page (A thick one) in between your legs everyday while you sit down.
It straightens your back and works your leg muscles.

I tried it and it helps my back so I recommend it.
I got it from a Japanese show and this girl who had REALLY thick legs tried that and it slimmed down her legs considerably.

There was something else...

Here are the pictures.

Did it slim down her thighs as well? smile.gif

Tiffany's exercise is kind of fun!
I like how Jessica's exercise ensures proper posture for that exercise.

I did do it. It's nothing. Like I said, someone who finds this effective is probably someone who doesn't workout often. This would be a good starting point for beginners though, no doubt.

any exercises to slim the calves??

i walk on my toes and my calves are huge and i'm not that slim as well >.>
the circumference of my calve (at the biggest/juicy part) is....16 inches D:
if i do cardio (jogging) and eating a healthy diet will make it slimmer?

Ugh it's probably genetics...my mom has fat calves as well TT ^ TT

I walk on my toes too, but it really gives your calves muscle. I am pretty small though,my calves are 31 cm, one cm bigger than tiff's. But walking on your toes shouldnt bulk up your calves that much? Just keep them toned, thats what mine are like anyway. :/ Idk what you would do to make them thinner besides diet and exercise to lose weight. Hm

i agree with u. i do taekwondo and this is essentially the amount of exercise id get out of mebbe equivalent of 5 minutes fo tkd training. it doesnt do anything unless u dont exercise regularly anyway...so good for beginners but nothing else

I think some others have already mentioned this, but honestly doing this alone isn't really going to do much for your legs. Maybe the most it'll do is tone up your leg muscles (make them firmer) a bit, but you won't lose inches or anything. There won't be a noticeable difference. Just saying for those who wanted to use this exercise alone to slim down legs.

Hmmm is interesting...but I think it just makes the legs more toned which appear slimmer...i don't think you are going to loose weight from it..maybe decrease the fat content but increase in muscle bulk maybe...

Hmmm maybe I should give it a go and report back on the results in few weeks time..

Thanks for the link!
