Hi, I'm a senior this year and my friends have been telling me about Questbridge, which is a college match site. They're associated with a lot of Ivy Leagues and I was wondering if anyone is going to apply for this or know anyone who did? I'm kinda iffy about this because if I do do it, I don't want to be matched with a college that doesn't have that great of a reputation when I can go to one of the UC's here in California. BTW, once you're matched you have to go, or that's what I've been hearing.

I heard about this like a few days ago, and I wanted to do it, but too late notice.

i turned in my application and everything yesterday.
you're only matched with colleges that you rank (so you're only choosing schools that you would attend for sure if they offer you the full-ride scholorship.) and yeah, you HAVE to go to the school (with some exceptions like Stanford and MIT) since its binding or they contact all the colleges/universities or something about your backing out and breaking the "contract". but that's only if you ranked any schools.
if you didn't rank any of the schools, you can forward your application later on to any of the partner schools and if they accept you but you don't want to go there, you can turn them down. and your application fee is waived i think.
you should have looked up the site since they answer all the questions you had above about the college match scholorship.. but its kind of pointless now since apps were due yesterday. :/
