sorry if this sounds disgusting...but have u ever had an experience where in someone sitting close to u or standing next to u farted silently but then u can smell it and yet that person looks indifferent as if he/she didn't fart at all??...or have u ever been in a worst situation where in u really need to do it but can't??....and do u fart at any public places???....lol

when i'm with my friends, as soon as i release the bad gas, i immediately tell them before they can even smell the "stench of evil." LOL.

This is definitely a disgusting topic. Frankly, I don't take note on people who fart. It's natural, and if we pick on them, how would it feel like if we let out a gas and people were picking on us?

Personally, I hold my farts in until I'm sure I'm by myself or in a large area with plenty of fresh air.
If someone around me farts then I just walk away... But if we were stuck in a room or something, then I'd just have to accept the fact that everyone farts.

EDIT: But I don't hold it in when I'm around my friends. I let them feel the wrath.

in my graphic designs class last time. i really needed to fart.
but i held it in. and after a few minutes or so, my friend made me laugh so hard.
i totally forgot about it and let it out. my class was literally SILENT.
omg ive never been so embarassed in my life ever.
and this girl in my class asked.. ' who farted '
and they laugheddd. i felt my cheeks slowly getting red. and everyone stared at me.
i just raised my hand up shyly and said it was me sorrry !

ok yeah I too hold my fart when I'm in a public place... I don't fart like constantly, but there are days when I have gases and I don't even know why >.< but when I'm at home, I fart as much as I want (ewww it's just disgusting to even read what I wrote but yeah lol )

My mum and grandma do it in public too (at least it's not THAT loud) so it is kinda embarassing in a way.

I do try to hold it when I feel I need to, especially
when I'm around other people. I just don't know if
it'll be silent or not, lol. Sounds ridiculous, I know,
but I'm just keeping it safe. Other than that, when
I'm alone, I don't really seem to care. I don't really
care if someone else does it either.

One time during a big exam for the state, a few kids
were done testing and waiting for the remainder to
wait. I was trying to sleep but these kids kept messing
around. 'Course the class was silent, but someone let
one rip and a group of kids in the corner of the room just
started to laugh. Don't know who did it, but my instructor
announced that if anyone was getting a bit flatulent from
test anxiety could be excused outside for awhile. No one
stood up.

What sucks is that even human's methane gas ruins the
ozone, lol. We just can't do anything right to save the Earth
can we?

i fart, only if i couldn't hold it in, but there was one time when a guy in our class farted and he sat like right behind my friend. we both heard a 'boop' and started lmao for the rest of the period. sorry if i was mean, but it was really funny at that time.

One time, during a lecture which was held in a huge oval classroom (Convocation Hall at University of Toronto), someone sneezed so hard that a fart came out with the sneeze. So it's like a.. snart? LOL.
And the noise was so explosive (good acoustics from the roundness of the hall), that everyone thought a bomb had went off. Obviously all the students turned to look at the dude who had produced such the epitome of letting one slip. I'm pretty sure the guy hadn't shown up to class since.
Another time, also in Con. Hall, the professor told a student to wake up another student who was sleeping beside him. So the student who was told to do this poked the person who was sleeping. Instead of waking up, though, the person let out a fart, which wasn't really as explosive as in the story above, but since everyone had turned their attention towards that direction when the prof spoke to the student, the fart was audible to everyone. So obviously we all laughed and the professor had to use the speaking podium for support, in case he fell off the stage from laughing as well.

one time during my highschool years i just transferred to a new school.. in my bio class i sat right behind this jock (we ended up being good friends later) it was my first day of class and i didnt know anyone.. he turns around at me and the first thing he says is "so, i'm gassy to day.. you might wanna scoot your seat back." i was a bit shocked like.. Wth? lol.. he did eventually fart and i did move back.. really far....
