Depends. I don't know why guys or girls will force themselves to wait a day before calling someone. If you call someone, most likely you'll have things to say, so it really doesn't matter. I don't understand why so many people make themselves suffer for day before calling. Just do it. Simple as that.

As a girl, I like my man to initiate things. I don't care if I give out my number and he calls me right on the spot as long as he has things to say to me.

Three days. There are a ton of girls out there that go crazy over guys that ignore them. Paying too much attention to a girl right away is the quickest way to lose her interest. It's just all part of the game. I don't like to play it, but many do.

I call when it pops into my mind to call. Depends how busy I am, how eager I am to talk to her again, etc. I don't really agree with any of these dating rules. I'm a bit sentimental, sometimes needy, sometimes detached, annoying at times, I like to eat junk food, don't really exercise, stay thin by eating nothing but salads for weeks at a time, am into nerdy stuff, really enjoy sex, so on and so forth. These are all characteristics a girl will like, be okay with, not like, or be repulsed by, and we might as well figure it out from the beginning rather than follow arbitrary dating rules which to me are an obfuscation of the truth in an attempt to convince one another that I am or she is what the rules denote that we are.

I wonder where or how did this rule came into effect. If you feel like calling then call, if not then don't. You shouldn't really have to dwell over when to call cuz it'll probably make you go crazy. I did thats why if I feel like calling then I call. But just don't wait too long or else that person will forget who you are.
