Zombieland Trailer

I caught the screening of the film a few hours ago, it is mf'ing awesome. When I saw the previews to Zombieland months ago, I turned to my mate and said "we have to see this, no matter what."

Fast forward to today, I was not disappointed at all. I absolutely loved Shaun of the Dead, but Zombieland takes the cake.

I'm suppose to go check it out this weekend with my friend. She's the one thats totally psyched to see it, but I saw the trailer awhile back and I instantly had preconceived notions about how it'd be similar to cheesy horror-comedy flicks.

But reading this gives me hope (I'm actually kind of excited to go see it now) LOL I don't want to walk into the theatre thinking that I'm about to waste $12 and an hour and a half of my life. XD

I just got back to the movies and i have to say...that i actually liked it. Lol, i think everyone was laughing the whole time and I was probably one of the loudest. Yeah, the movie was a little bit gory at some points, you see tons of blood, guts and flesh, but if i was able to handle it (and trust me, i DO NOT watch gory movies) i think anyone could. And sure it was funny, but it also had some pretty sad moments. I don't know if i'm just weird but Zombieland made killing zombies seems like a blast as well.

Go watch it!

Just watched the movie about 30 minutes ago and it was good. It's one of those types of movies that I would watch about 2 times and it would get boring. It was a good mix between comedy and action. The horror part wasn't great since most of the scare scenes were one of those music-gets-louder-while-character-is-walking-and-bam-zombie-pops-out moments. Oh, this movie totally reminds me of L4D since the badass character is Francis and he looks like him too LOL. Not to mention there is a scene in an amusement park in the movie that will be in L4D 2.

Hahah, orginally my friends and I were planning on watching "Paranormal Activity", but then turns out, there was a long line; already sold out, tickets for it. So we watched Zombieland; it was so funny. The beginning, where the zombie came out the bathroom, made my friend almost choke on a popcorn. Lol.
Totally love the guy who kept wanting twinkies. LOL! That part made me the weakest.
I give this movie 5/5 (:

Well it's a comedy-horror movie. I say the only disgusting thing is the zombies; how they look like and stuff. Pretty funny most the time. Had it's sad moments but then towards the end of the sadness, they say something funny, which makes you laugh.
Nothing like the Borat movie. No perverted jokes (I think I was more focus at trying to find hiding zombies LOL)
Look at the trailer if you like, I'm really bad at describing ><"

It's funny, I don't recall a single perverted or sexual joke.

Fun-tastic! I enjoyed this film from beginning to end and was never bored at any point. Dare I say that this is better than Shaun of the Dead. Remember the scene where Bill Murray was attempted to scare Columbus and Little Rock? Oh man. Everyone in the theater was already laughing knowing that he was going to die on accident. Everyone check this movie out.

This might be a bit off-topic, but still related to zombies. After we left the movie theater, we saw this creepy girl walking really funny towards us. She was wearing a white dress splattered with fake blood on it plus she had the zombie make-up as well. We were freaked out because we weren't sure if it was the real thing or not. Haha! I was getting ready to make a run for it. Rule #1: Cardio. Hilarious!

I thought that a sad ending might happen but it turns out that the movie ended on a happy note.

The two sisters keep betraying the two guys. One would think that you had it if that happens to you. But that isn't the case with the main character.

That was kind of sad yet pitiful at the same time. It was dumb for him to try to surprise them like that.

I watched this and it was SO GOOD. I usually don't like zombie-type movies but I loved this movie.
Maybe because I started to play Left 4 Dead recently (haha my brother got me addicted) but still...I think it would be a fun movie to watch this friends xD

"Zombieland" writer Paul Wernick spoke to MTV News about developing a sequel to the film that took first spot at the box office this weekend with $25 million, already making back its $23 million budget.

"We would love it, and everyone involved creatively wants to do another one," said Wernick. "Woody [Harrelson] came up to us after the final cut of the last scene and gave us a hug and said, 'I've never wanted to do a sequel in the previous movies I've done until this one.'"

If and when another film gets greenlit, the writers have more than enough material with which to work. "It has lived in our heads for four-and-a-half years," Wernick said. "We developed it and wrote it as a spec TV pilot in the summer of 2005. We've got a long brainstorming document that still to this day gets updated on a near-weekly basis with ideas. We've got tons of new ideas swimming in our head."

He added: "We would love to do several sequels. We would love to also see it on television. It would make a wonderful TV series."

Hmm, a TV series sounds pretty interesting, but they're probably gonna hire different actors since movie starts don't do TV series often. If the cast from the movie do agree on a series, then that would be awesome. Maybe the series can have the characters go around the world, meet new survivors, etc.

I REALLY need to go see this!!!!

I LOVE Woody Harrelson! I LOVE LOVE LOVE him. He's so talented! Even in movies where he doesn't play the main character, his acting always steals the show...The most recent film I have seen from him was 7 Pounds, his character had limited screen time but HIS performance had the biggest impact to me, because the emotions he conveyed were saw raw, so perfect...Yeah, I really love this guys acting.

i also love zombies!

I think I am gonna see it this weekend =D

The scene with woody at the end going trigger happy at the park was AMAZING.
Especially when he locked himself up in that room.
Like a first person shooter's DREAM. hahaha

This movie made me grin the whole time.
And that kid is right. Clowns are the freakiest thing ever! I nearly crapped my pants when he was on the can and talking about his worst fear!

And the icing on the cake... My friend from HS was the 2D type Animator. You know all the rules? He's the one that made that. I stayed past to watch the credits and saw his name tongue.gif I'm proud of you Marco Campobasso!
