Anyone interested in starting a Kendo club at UNLV? I need at least five people to start a club. Right now I only know two people (2 Korean guys) who are interested, but I lost contact with both of them..

For my university, all we needed was to have a president and treasurer and we could make a club. You just need two people to practice kendo : ). That's how my kendo club got started anyways, but that was awhile ago. once you start promoting it a little, people start showing up, experienced and inexperienced and your club grows.
I would probably search around the area to see if there is a dojo already though. .

Dudeeeeeeeee, I hope you seriously start it 'cause I'm moving to UNLV soon, and I will definitely will join it. I was searching for a place to practice and the only place I found is www.lasvegaskendo.com.

I also found that a professor at UNLV is a member of that club (site). So, maybe you could talk to him and see if he can help you. Just giving out an idea. Not sure.
