If its something like Grease than you're looking for the rockabilly type of music. Some that i know are
Guy Mitchell- rock a billy,
Danny and the Juniors- at the hop, rock n roll is here to stay, i think this was one of the songs in Grease,
pretty much anything from Jerry Lee Lewis and Chuck Berry
Buddy Knox- party doll
Larry Williams- bony moronie
Buddy Holly- oh boy, or anything of his
The Comets- the dipsy doodley
Little Richard- Lucille
Gene Vincent- bi bickey bi bo bo go, say mama, you can really dance to this
Bobby Darin- splish splash
Big Bopper- chantilly lace
Bobby Freeman- do you wanna dance, betty lou got a new pair of shoes
Bobby Day- Rockin Robin
Ritchie Valens- come on lets go
Those are some good songs to swing and twist to.
